I'm looking for an icon of ____ . Where are they?
I used to organise this place by using the memories feature, but then LJ introduced tags which are much easier to use. You can view the tags for every subject I've iconned by going here. It's alphabetical and I tag everything so you won't miss anything.
Why can't I post here?
Because it's my community for my graphics. You don't need posting access to see the icons. You don't even need to be a member, though it'd be awesome if you were ;)

What does "don't steal" mean?
It means don't claim you made something when you didn't. Also, don't post my work anywhere without asking permission first and giving proper credit.
Do you demand credit?
No, but I'd really, really like you to credit anyway! I'm always snooping other people's icons to find new icon makers. How will I know where to go if nobody credits?
Okay, so how do I credit?
a) Go to manage >> user pictures.
b) Find the icons you want to add credit for.
c) Enter something like 'by thedustbox' or 'by thespyglass'.
If you enter <*lj comm="thedustbox"*> without the stars, that's even better :)
d) Click 'save settings'.
Can I add text/change the colours/animate icons?
Nope, sorry. Icons are not for customisation. Animation is alright as long as you ask first, let me know what you're doing, and don't ask credit for the finished work. Bases on the other hand are supposed to be customised. You can find all my bases by searching the bases tag. Go ahead and use them how ever you like, just don't hotlink them ;)
Can I post your icons on my website?
Redistributing icons is only okay if you ask permission first. I don't want my work popping up on all kinds of random places because eventually that'll lead to lack of credit and stealing.
If you want to ask permission, the best place to do so is in a comment to the most recent post, leaving me the url(s) to the icons you want to redistribute so I know what you're taking.
Can I nominate you for an award?
