well, honestly that is the first step. facing the reality of the scale. i weigh each week, but you could just weigh once a month or so.first steps:1. weigh yourself2. make a food plan (how many calories do you want to eat a day? how much fat? etc.) buy a notebook to write down everything you eat. this really helps keep you honest with yourself. stock your pantry and plan healthful meals in advance.3. set your first short-term goal. for me, it's 10% of my body weight. So, 15 lbs.4. don't try to do it all at once. start off just dealing with your food intake. once you feel like you're getting it, add a small amount of exercise into your routine.i'm here for ya! |
