   My major professor seriously redlined my rough draft and I've gone back to the drawing board. I've completely deconstructed the lit review down to the bare bones in order to recompile it. But with any luck, and the two FedEx boxes of fresh library books, I will be able to fill the gaping holes she point out in her sanguinous edit.How have others handled such complete rewrites? |

| My first chapter was at 20 pages when I ended up having to literally toss the whole thing...and then I started it from scratch in a totally different direction. |
