Incest Survivors' Support

This is a community for those who have suffered from incest, sexual abuse at the hands of a family member, etc. and for those who would like to add their voices in support and help. I would like this to be a safe and comforting atmosphere in which we can try to help each other heal from our experiences and to deal with the difficulty of living in the same house as those who have hurt you. Please respect the privacy and safety of the members of the community.

The community is in a trial period of accepting both victims, survivors, and others that are currently interested in helping even if they have never experienced incest. When asking for membership and posting access please make it clear which category you fall into and why you want to join.

I, fred_girl, maintain the community.

This community will not tolerate sexually explicit material due to its possibly volatile nature. If you feel the need to post something along those lines, please use LJ cut and post a warning in the subject heading. Anyone who cannot cooperate will be asked to leave and all comments and posts will be removed.
