The Official Global Expeditions Community

Today, 2.2 billion people live in spiritual darkness, and 1.6 billion of them are currently beyond the reach of the Church. Every two seconds, one of them dies, never having heard the Gospel. The world is in crisis. God's heart breaks for each and every single one. The Task which the Church has been given the responsibility for is largely ignored, and millions die every year, slipping into an eternity without God.

The average church member doesn't realize the dire state that our world is in. The average church member doesn't care. When they hear the statistics - a nine-mile line of people forming at the gates of hell every day - and they shrug. The average church member reads Jesus' command to go into all the world, and they assume He meant just those who felt "called," or who had some ethereal supernatural experience that directed them to go. The average church member hears stories of billions living in darkness and they say, "isn't that too bad." The average church member does nothing of eternal significance with the life that God entrusted to them.

But you aren't average.

You have heard the cry of the lost and the dying. You have caught God's heartbeat for the nations. You have laid ahold of His passion for those lost, living in darkness. And you've done something about it. You've made history. You've left your mark on eternity.

You are a missionary. You are a WorldChanger. Your life will count for eternity. Your motto is...

"My life for the Gospel."

If you have been a part of Global Expeditions, or if you are planning on going on a trip with them, feel free to join this community. This is a place to encourage each other, to fellowship with each other, and to stir each other's passion for the lost. It's a place to share war stories and to challenge each other to continue to develop the missionary within each of us. It's a place where experiences can be shared to inspire and encourage. And it's a place to share prayer requests and praise reports of God's incredible faithfulness.
