I decided that it was time for me to start an LJ community for people like myself who have undergone some sort of transplant and would like to discuss any relevant issues with other people who are in similar situations. I have undergone a stem-cell transplant and if successful I will undergo a cornea transplant. I am on anti-rejection medication and have often felt lonely with all the fears and doubts that I have felt since the transplant. Occasionally I get frustrated that my friends and family do not understand what I am going through and I would love to have other people to talk to who understand and that I can relate to. Everyone is welcome, no matter your experience. Respect is mandatory.
