watching dharma and greg]after a doctor's appointment today the doctor said something to me that has me a little worried..and i won't know anything until next week when i go back for my next appointment...so i'm going to ask around and see if anyone had this happen.... the entire pregnancy thus far they told me i've been measuring right on and now all of a sudden they're telling me that i'm measuring smaller but that my daughter is in position and her head is down low where it should be...has anyone had this happen? i'm a little worried because the doctor was really rude and mean and short with me about this and today was the first day i met her-the OB i go to has 4 different doctors and the rotate you so that you can meet all the doctors since you don't know exactly which one will be there when you deliver(but i'm thinking of switching hospitals because the one i go to now is 45 minutes away but yet there's one that i can see from the front porch of our apartment..so i wanna go there because their facilities are better and the staff is much nicer) but the doctor mentioned that this could be a completely normal and healthy baby who just small because i am so petite(5'2.5" and between 110-115 pounds pre-pregnancy)or there could be a problem..so she ordered me to have an ultrasound which they did today but the techincian said she couldn't tell me anything because it was up to the doctor to tell me because they weren't allowed to tell me..which i thought was crap! so now i'm left to worry(even though my husband says not to worry until we find something out more detailed but i can't help myself!) so now i'll stop babbling long enough to ask how many people this has happened to and what ended up happening? i want to hear the good and the bad....she mentioned some bad things like having low fluid and then she didn't go into much other detail...so please help me out before i go insane! i hope this all makes at least a little sense! x-posted a whole bunch! mcl ♥ jess |
