Welcome to yet another icontest, tv_fandoms. This is a weekly icontest, just like many others. Every Monday a new challenge related to (as the name tells you) a TV fandom will be posted, it could be a cap from a specific show, or it could be a theme or some lyrics, where it's up to you to pick. Random header contests might also occur. The community was created by _trendi and is currently maintained by her only. Who can participate? Anyone who likes making icons and watching TV. ;) Now, promote! The more, the merrier, isn't that true?
R U L E S
01. All entries should be posted directly into the community.
02. Entries should be made according to Livejournal standards, nothing over 40KB or 100x100 in size. It can be smaller if you wish.
03. When voting, vote for the three best icons in order. The voting system here is done after points, which means that you get 3 points for a first place vote, 2 points for a second place vote and 1 point for a third place vote. All points will be added together, and the three persons with the most points will win first, second and third place. If there is a tie, the moderator will choose. There will also be a special "Mod's Choice" where the moderator picks their favourite icon not among the three best.
04. When posting your entries, post them directly into the community. When you post them, make sure you post both the image and the URL to the entry. [ like this ] If it is a header challenge, use a thumbnail or link for the header.
05. When voting, you can't vote for yourself. And no tactical voting or cheating. Don't try to make a new LJ account or something, or telling your friends to vote for you secretly. I will find out.
06. You can make how many entries you wish for each challenge, there is no limit. :) Each challenge is voluntary, but the more entries each week, the happier everyone will be. Meaning, if there is enough entries each week we don't need extencions and delays.
07. If you are planning on entering challenges, please either friend or join the community, it's nice to see how many people are planning to join.
08. Mild tasteful nudity is allowed in icons, same with cursing like for example fuck and also allowed. Hey, artists like to express what they feel, that's what art's all about. But I will not tolerate racism or pornography. Also, I'm not taking responsability for the participants' icons, it's not my fault if you 10 year old sees some cursing here.
09. That's pretty much it. Have a great time!
