As much as possible, we try to maintain a policy of non-censorship; however, to maintain a sense of relevance within the community discussions, we have developed the following guidelines:
Posts that have nothing to do with the Penn experience or Philadelphia (including but not limited to: advertisements for events outside of Philadelphia and/or not affiliated with Penn and random links, quizzes, and other posts that would be considered spam if received in e-mail) are not permitted and will be deleted. Topics that are tangentially but not directly related to the Penn experience, which might generate interesting discussion, and which are clearly not intended as spam (including but not limited to: personal advice, relationship issues, and politics) are permitted but should be concealed behind an lj-cut that clearly indicates the subject of the post.
Posts that do not adhere to these guidelines will be deleted upon the consensus of a majority of the community maintainers. Users will only be banned from the community in extreme circumstances (e.g., obvious spamming) determined on a case-by-case basis by the community maintainers.
