Adolescence is a critical phase that can raise a problem, one of which is violence. This conditio... more Adolescence is a critical phase that can raise a problem, one of which is violence. This condition harms the dynamics of academic activities at school if they do not immediately find a solution. One party that has a central role in character development to suppress student violence is school counselors. This research is a systematic literature review that describes the counselor's role as an agent of peace whose primary focus is to build a culture of peace in the school environment. The results showed that counselors used two pillars of service to create a culture of peace in schools, namely peace guidance and peace counseling. This paper discusses operational descriptions for each of the posts to build a culture of peace in the school environment. This results should serve as a reference for school counselors in supporting their programs to reduce violence in schools. Besides, this study also recommends conducting further research to create a guidance and counseling program to reduce violence among adolescents in schools.

Indonesia and Malaysia are two neighboring countries that support implementing peace education. Even though the two countries are allied and neighbors, each country has uniqueness, including implementing peace education. This study aims to describe the role of peace educators in Indonesian and Malaysian schools. Systematic literature reviews identify the position of peace educators in building a culture of peace in schools. The study uses eight main articles to describe the role of peace educators in Indonesia and Malaysia. The selected articles were analyzed by data extraction. The study results show that peace educators in Indonesia and Malaysia have different characteristics. Peace educators in Indonesia focus more on efforts to suppress student violence. Meanwhile, peace educators in Malaysia focus on building a constructive mindset towards all forms of experiences experienced by students. The study recommends further research to create a unique model of peace education according to the characteristics of students in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Pendidik di TK ABA Tahfidz Al-Ashr selama ini menggunakan metode talqin dalam mengenalkan dan mur... more Pendidik di TK ABA Tahfidz Al-Ashr selama ini menggunakan metode talqin dalam mengenalkan dan muroja'ah hadits, belum pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran apapun, sehingga peserta didik kurang memperhatikan, mood dan konsentrasi tidak stabil. Berbagai hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang menarik dan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak adalah multimedia interaktif. Pendidik di TK ABA Tahfidz memiliki perangkat laptop yang terinstall aplikasi powerpoint, namun belum memanfaatkannya sebagai media pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan prototype multimedia interaktif berbasis Powerpoint di TK ABA Tahfidz Al-Ashr Kabupaten Temanggung dalam mengenal dan murojaah hadits pilihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall namun dibatasi pada 6 langkah prosedur pengembangan, yaitu (1) analisis potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, dan (6) uji coba produk. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prototype multimedia interaktif HaPi klak-klik berbasis PowerPoint memenuhi kriteria sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli media 80,43% (sangat layak digunakan), penilaian ahli materi 88,28% (sangat layak digunakan), dan hasil uji coba terbatas dengan perolehan jawaban "ya" pada seluruh indikator dengan persentase 100% (sangat layak). Disimpulkan bahwa prototype multimedia interaktif HaPi klak-klik berbasis PowerPoint yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan minat anak dalam kegiatan mengenal dan murojaah hadits pilihan, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam uji coba skala lebih luas.

S... more Salah satu unit PAUD yang masih banyak gurunya belum memenuhi kualifikasi akademik adalah PAUD. Selain itu, guru yang pernah atau belum mengikuti pelatihan berjenjang mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan penilaian pembelajaran terutama pada tahap pencatatan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru lulusan non-PGPAUD dalam melaksanakan penilaian pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah guru lulusan non PGPAUD yang mengajar di PAUD Fullday Terpadu Aisyiyah Kasihan Bantul yang berjumlah 4 orang guru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan keabsahan data menggunakan member check melalui FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Spradley. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAUD Terpadu Fullday Aisyiyah Kasihan Bantul telah memenuhi 6 dari 7 indikator kompetensi dalam melaksanakan penilaian pembelajaran. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian yaitu mengikuti pelatihan berjenjang dan dorongan dari kepala sekolah. Namun guru masih kesulitan dalam mencatat data penilaian berupa catatan anekdot, pekerjaan, dan daftar periksa. Oleh karena itu, kepala PAUD Terpadu Fullday Aisyiyah Kasihan Bantul perlu mendorong para guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kualifikasi akademiknya dengan menempuh pendidikan S1 PGPAUD.

Perumusan indikator tersebut dilakukan dengan tahap: melakukan telaah konseptual tentang kemampuan guru ramah anak di PAUD, berikutnya menyusun definisi operasional dari kemampuan guru ramah anak, definisi operasional tersebut digunakan untuk menyusun blue print yang memuat indikator guru ramah anak di Satuan PAUD. Temuan hasil kerja ini yaitu 3 buah indikator guru ramah anak. Indikator tersebut berupa kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi dan melaporkan hasil pelaksanaan program rangsangan pendidikan, kesehatan, gizi, pengasuhan, dan perlindungan anak tanpa diskriminasi di Satuan PAUD.

Peace in students can drive the development of peace in their social environment. Educators should be able to play the role of peace educators to take part in creating true peace. This study aims to identify the attributes of peace educators through the life experiences of KH Ahmad Dahlan, as narrated in the novel Sang Pencerah (The Enlightener). This qualitative research employs the hermeneutic approach. The research stages include overall understanding (whole), understanding of parts and obtaining an understanding of the underlying meaning. The results indicate that the attributes of peace educators, according to KH Ahmad Dahlan, include showing affection, being sincere, having a good attitude, performing practices aligning with the educators’ knowledge and teaching knowledge based on tolerance and empathy. Using qualitative approach withcase studymulticase method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentatio nare supported by field notes. The analysis used Spradley model analysis with an examination of the validity of the data through the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results showed that(1) the amount of the existence of early childhood with special needs in Sidoharjo, Jambon, Ponorogo has decreased. It is because of the caring of government by health service, education, and parents awareness was increasing, (2) the special needs of early childhood are identificated: down syndrome, withdrawal, learning disability, and multiple disability, (3) interventionthat received by special needs of early childhood: physical interventions, health, and education, (4) the potential capabilities from early childhood with special need include:gross motor skills and independence, memorization of listening, gross motor skills, singing and recitation through listening, and ability to see and hear as a basic modality to have social interaction with others.

In contrast, the early period of life, including infancy and children, is a critical period of body and brain growth. Any nutritional problems could lead to serious nutritional problems and low intelligence. Therefore, this service program aims to optimize posyandu activities by arranging the training for cadres to support toddlers’ growth in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The training included anthropometric measurements and analysis of growth charts for children under five for posyandu’s cadres. This activity was attended by 15 posyandu cadres and delivered by using discussion, simulation, and demonstration methods. Pharmacology screening of active compound of medicinal plants would be time consuming and costly. Molecular docking is one of the in silico method which is more efficient compare to in vitro or in vivo method for its capability of finding the active compound in medicinal plants. In this method, three-dimensional structure becomes very important in the molecular docking methods, so we need a database that provides information on three-dimensional structures of chemical compounds from medicinal plants in Indonesia. Therefore, this study will prepare a database which provides information of the three dimensional structures of chemical compounds of medicinal plants. The database will be prepared by using MySQL format and is designed to be placed in http://herbaldb.farmasi.ui.ac.id website so that eventually this database can be accessed quickly and easily by users via the Internet.

This study is an evaluation research using discrepancy model, which aims to describe the discrepa... more This study is an evaluation research using discrepancy model, which aims to describe the discrepancy of level in the aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing individual counseling programs in schools with defined standards and criteria. This research uses mixed method design with concurrent triangulation model. The collected data is analyzed by quantitative technique through comparative constant and comparative modified test and qualitative technique with the meaning of data. The results showed that the implementation of individual counseling programs in four schools studied was at the level nearly meet the standards. In particular, the combined profile results also indicate that the individual counseling program planning aspect is at the level nearly meet the standards. Moreover, the aspect of individual counseling program implementation is also at the level nearly meet the standards. However, the evaluation aspect of the individual counseling program showed that it is at the standard level.

Namun, kesiapan guru PAUD dalam hal literasi komputer terbatas pada penggunaan Ms. Office (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, dan Ms. Power Point) secara sederhana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang prototype laporan perkembangan anak menggunakan Ms.Excel untuk menunjang pekerjaan guru PAUD. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode RD modifikasi model Borg Gall sampai pada tahap validasi ahli uji coba terbatas terhadap pengguna. Sebanyak 24 guru PAUD Aisyiyah terlibat dalam uji coba terbatas. Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning evaluation refers to the evaluation of early aged-childr... more Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning evaluation refers to the evaluation of early aged-children' developmental achievement. This is pivotal to measure developmental achievement during and after the learning activity is conducted. From the previous study shown that teacher faced various problems to do assessment and evaluation. Accordingly, this study aimed to explore the ECE teachers' need to find solutions for the problems. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed randomly in Indonesia through google form. The data were analyzed in accordance with the Miles and Hubberman analysis model. The data were presented descriptively to clear up the finding of the study. The study found that (a) the majority of teachers had made attempts to improve their evaluation and assessment skill through various activities; (b) had not gained what they wanted from the activities; and (c) need an assessment application that helps them evaluate the learning process. The conclusion is the teachers need an assessment application that adapts the fourth industrial revolution, an electronic assessment and evaluation application to solve their problems to do assessment and evaluation with the better way.

Perumusan indikator tersebut dilakukan dengan tahap: melakukan telaah konseptual tentang kemampuan guru ramah anak di PAUD, berikutnya menyusun definisi operasional dari kemampuan guru ramah anak, definisi operasional tersebut digunakan untuk menyusun blue print yang memuat indikator guru ramah anak di Satuan PAUD. Temuan hasil kerja ini yaitu 3 buah indikator guru ramah anak. Indikator tersebut berupa kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi dan melaporkan hasil pelaksanaan program rangsangan pendidikan, kesehatan, gizi, pengasuhan, dan perlindungan anak tanpa diskriminasi di Satuan PAUD.

Peace in students can drive the development of peace in their social environment. Educators should be able to play the role of peace educators to take part in creating true peace. This study aims to identify the attributes of peace educators through the life experiences of KH Ahmad Dahlan, as narrated in the novel Sang Pencerah (The Enlightener). This qualitative research employs the hermeneutic approach. The research stages include overall understanding (whole), understanding of parts and obtaining an understanding of the underlying meaning. The results indicate that the attributes of peace educators, according to KH Ahmad Dahlan, include showing affection, being sincere, having a good attitude, performing practices aligning with the educators’ knowledge and teaching knowledge based on tolerance and empathy. This study aimed to describe: (1) the growing number of early childhood with special needs, (2)sp... more This study aimed to describe: (1) the growing number of early childhood with special needs, (2)special need in early childhood, (3) intervention that received by early childhoodspecial needs, and(4) the potentialability of early childhood with special needs in Sidoharjo Village, District Jambon, Ponorogo. Using qualitative approach withcase studymulticase method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentatio nare supported by field notes. The analysis used Spradley model analysis with an examination of the validity of the data through the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results showed that(1) the amount of the existence of early childhood with special needs in Sidoharjo, Jambon, Ponorogo has decreased. It is because of the caring of government by health service, education, and parents awareness was increasing, (2) the special needs of early childhood are identificated: down syndrome, withdrawal, learning disability, and multiple disability, (3) interventionthat received by special needs of early childhood: physical interventions, health, and education, (4) the potential capabilities from early childhood with special need include:gross motor skills and independence, memorization of listening, gross motor skills, singing and recitation through listening, and ability to see and hear as a basic modality to have social interaction with others.

In contrast, the early period of life, including infancy and children, is a critical period of body and brain growth. Any nutritional problems could lead to serious nutritional problems and low intelligence. Therefore, this service program aims to optimize posyandu activities by arranging the training for cadres to support toddlers’ growth in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The training included anthropometric measurements and analysis of growth charts for children under five for posyandu’s cadres. This activity was attended by 15 posyandu cadres and delivered by using discussion, simulation, and demonstration methods. It was found that the cadres still made some mistakes in measuring weight, body length, height, and head circumference, so they were given a demonstration of the correct measurement methods. Pharmacology screening of active compound of medicinal plants would be time consuming and costly. Molecular docking is one of the in silico method which is more efficient compare to in vitro or in vivo method for its capability of finding the active compound in medicinal plants. In this method, three-dimensional structure becomes very important in the molecular docking methods, so we need a database that provides information on three-dimensional structures of chemical compounds from medicinal plants in Indonesia. Therefore, this study will prepare a database which provides information of the three dimensional structures of chemical compounds of medicinal plants. The database will be prepared by using MySQL format and is designed to be placed in http://herbaldb.farmasi.ui.ac.id website so that eventually this database can be accessed quickly and easily by users via the Internet.

This study is an evaluation research using discrepancy model, which aims to describe the discrepa... more This study is an evaluation research using discrepancy model, which aims to describe the discrepancy of level in the aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing individual counseling programs in schools with defined standards and criteria. This research uses mixed method design with concurrent triangulation model. The collected data is analyzed by quantitative technique through comparative constant and comparative modified test and qualitative technique with the meaning of data. The results showed that the implementation of individual counseling programs in four schools studied was at the level nearly meet the standards. In particular, the combined profile results also indicate that the individual counseling program planning aspect is at the level nearly meet the standards. Moreover, the aspect of individual counseling program implementation is also at the level nearly meet the standards. However, the evaluation aspect of the individual counseling program showed that it is at the standard level.

Namun, kesiapan guru PAUD dalam hal literasi komputer terbatas pada penggunaan Ms. Office (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, dan Ms. Power Point) secara sederhana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang prototype laporan perkembangan anak menggunakan Ms.Excel untuk menunjang pekerjaan guru PAUD. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode RD modifikasi model Borg Gall sampai pada tahap validasi ahli uji coba terbatas terhadap pengguna. Sebanyak 24 guru PAUD Aisyiyah terlibat dalam uji coba terbatas. Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning evaluation refers to the evaluation of early aged-childr... more Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning evaluation refers to the evaluation of early aged-children' developmental achievement. This is pivotal to measure developmental achievement during and after the learning activity is conducted. From the previous study shown that teacher faced various problems to do assessment and evaluation. Accordingly, this study aimed to explore the ECE teachers' need to find solutions for the problems. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed randomly in Indonesia through google form. The data were analyzed in accordance with the Miles and Hubberman analysis model. The data were presented descriptively to clear up the finding of the study. The study found that (a) the majority of teachers had made attempts to improve their evaluation and assessment skill through various activities; (b) had not gained what they wanted from the activities; and (c) need an assessment application that helps them evaluate the learning process. The conclusion is the teachers need an assessment application that adapts the fourth industrial revolution, an electronic assessment and evaluation application to solve their problems to do assessment and evaluation with the better way.
