This article focuses on two objectives: to evaluate the quality of two models of dual VET in Spain and to identify their differences in terms of the following dimensions: Teaching Team, Process, Evaluation and Synergies. To achieve these objectives, a quantitative methodology and a cross-sectional design were used to collect data using an ad hoc questionnaire (37 items) developed based on a literature review and the 14 European quality criteria. The sample consisted of 263 educational institutions. Regarding the results for the first objective, Model B implemented EQAVET with higher quality. With regards to the second, researchers observed that all dimensions received a high or very high compliance of 70%. However, discrepancies were primarily found in the training of tutors in training centres, quality certification of dual VET and links, and support and cooperation between training centres and companies. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the factors that lead to higher quality dual VET in schools, based on the manner in which the criteria of the European Framework for Quality and Effective Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) are implemented.

In this paper we make a contribution to research into the area through an experience of educational innovation. We assess the level of satisfaction of a student group with the deployment of teamwork through a collaborative software open. To this end, an exploratorydescriptive study has been carried out and a questionnaire has been used with questions on technological skills and satisfaction in ICT knowledge. Among the results, the highest score questions are: the student’s ability to coordinate a group activity carried out on the internet, knowledge about information programs in which to share information on the network with peers and the use of cloud storage systems. The advantages detected when using a web application for group work for the first time are related to the motivation and the greater involvement of the students, as well as a better distribution of tasks among the ...

Excessive land fragmentation decreases the intensity of agricultural practices and increases production costs, thus leading to a continuous reduction in income. Over the years, fi elds in many areas of Poland have been divided into smaller and smaller parcels, which has resulted in a faulty land ownership structure (along with a mass exodus of people to towns as well as abroad. This article presents a detailed study of the land ownership structure of fourteen villages situated in the commune of Bialaczów (district of the Opoczno and Łódź voivodeships). The aim of the article is to determine the intensifi cation of the phenomenon of dispersion of farmland in the villages of the examined municipality using chessboard type tables.

Collaborative filtering is one of the most popular techniques in designing recommendation systems... more Collaborative filtering is one of the most popular techniques in designing recommendation systems, and its most representative model, matrix factorization, has been wildly used by researchers and the industry. However, this model suffers from the lack of interpretability and the item cold-start problem, which limit its reliability and practicability. In this paper, we propose an interpretable recommendation model called Multi-Matrix Factorization (MMF), which addresses these two limitations and achieves the state-of-the-art prediction accuracy by exploiting common attributes that are present in different items. In the model, predicted item ratings are regarded as weighted aggregations of attribute ratings generated by the inner product of the user latent vectors and the attribute latent vectors. MMF provides more fine grained analyses than matrix factorization in the following ways: attribute ratings with weights allow the understanding of how much each attribute contributes to the recommendation and hence provide interpretability; the common attributes can act as a link between existing and new items, which solves the item cold-start problem when no rating exists on an item. We evaluate the interpretability of MMF comprehensively, and conduct extensive experiments on real datasets to show that MMF outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in terms of accuracy.

An ad-hoc questionnaire was filled out by 155 students from five different degrees at the University of Murcia (UMU) - Spain and the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC). A SWOT matrix was applied using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results show that the greatest differences for students are external factors relating to economic, social and political context. These results indicate new reflections on future actions in both European and Latin American universities, aimed at achieving greater involvement in promoting labour insertion for their students. In conclusion, universities must contribute to proactively establishing a professional and vital project enabling students to adapt to the unstable employment context.
