Este trabalho trata dos ativismos em torno das lutas por transferência de renda e de combate à fo... more Este trabalho trata dos ativismos em torno das lutas por transferência de renda e de combate à fome na pandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil, entre 2020 e 2021. Investigamos as estratégias utilizadas por ativistas para a conquista da renda emergencial e para o funcionamento de brigadas de solidariedade de combate à fome. Analisamos a ação dos movimentos sociais, em especial na campanha "Renda Básica que Queremos". Para nossa análise, realizamos entrevistas e examinamos documentos dos movimentos sociais e de institutos de pesquisa governamental. A nossa hipótese é que o contexto político autoritário do governo Bolsonaro, assim como a profunda crise econômica e social do país, impulsionou movimentos sociais de origens e tradições diversificadas a se unirem em torno do combate à profunda injustiça social no Brasil. Como resultado, observamos que as lutas por transferência de renda e combate à fome na pandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil articularam um afrontamento significativo ao autoritário governo Bolsonaro.

This article discusses some intervention strategies that contribute to the development of adults ... more This article discusses some intervention strategies that contribute to the development of adults in the university context. The intervention research was developed with university students aged between 18 and 40 years on average in a public university. During three years, three psychosocial intervention workshops were held, mediated by playful-body practices and an autobiographical workshop. The results showed that the interventions promoted dialogicity between the narratives, reflections on ruptures and transitions, in addition to greater self-confidence and autonomy, fundamental aspects for the construction of new belongings, exploration of identities, and sociopolitical responsibilities among the participants. It was possible to conclude that the resignification of life stories and playful-body experiences prove to be effective as intervention strategies and psychosocial support for this public.

This article aims to discuss the social commitment of Psychology in the Brazilian reality, in ord... more This article aims to discuss the social commitment
of Psychology in the Brazilian reality, in order to reflect on
the insertion of this science and profession in historically
non-hegemonic areas of activity. For this, a bibliographic
research was carried out in articles from magazines and
periodicals – contained in research portals such as SciELO,
PePSIC and BVS-Psi Brasil – as well as in books that add
to the topic. Thus, the question is how Psychology has
been building socially and politically based practices with
marginalized populations, which for a long time were not
a priority for intervention. It argues in defense of how public
policies are a fertile field for the insertion of psychologists and
psychologists who aim to exercise the profession in a socially
implicated way, with integration of popular knowledge and
with a commitment to popular disalienation. In practice,
some obstacles have contributed to the slow pace of these
changes.

This article intends to tension and extrapolate the literature of the Italian writer Elena Ferran... more This article intends to tension and extrapolate the literature of the Italian writer Elena Ferrante, whose extensive work stars women with many similarities – but also limitations – to each other, thus revealing intersections with reality that have complexities sometimes not even touched by the author. In attempt to build an autonomous dialogue, feminist theorists and activists located in places not so close to Ferrante’s Neapolitan lands were mobilized. For this, in addition to conducting an in-depth reading of all the author's works published in Portuguese to this date, the production of names such as: bell hooks, Heleieth Saffioti, Zillah Eisenstein, María Lugones, Judith Butler, among others, were also utilized. Using mainly her most successful books - the Neapolitan tetralogy -, a fictional and real analysis were made about Lila and Lenu, her protagonists who often refer to quite identifiable feminist positions and ideologies, although the author chooses to leave political debates in the background in her narratives. From the trajectory of the characters themselves, other forms of existence, re-existence and non-existence were brought up, considering that denying is also a possibility of existing.

This article addresses the backlash against reproductive rights during Jair Bolsonaro’s governmen... more This article addresses the backlash against reproductive rights during Jair Bolsonaro’s government, focusing on access to legal abortions. Although access to abortion is quite restricted in Brazil, under Bolsonaro it was further curtailed through institutionalised spaces of power. This was met by counter-backlash actions, with an intensification of feminist activism in an attempt to secure an agenda of hard-won reproductive rights. To address this struggle for reproductive rights and against restrictions, we focus our analysis on the high-profile media case of an 11-year‑old girl, pregnant after being raped.

This essay proposes to guide the occupation of urban territory by LGBTQIA+ people, as well as to ... more This essay proposes to guide the occupation of urban territory by LGBTQIA+ people, as well as to question the conditionalities of the right to the city for those who are sexual and/or gender dissidents. The monstrification of subalternized bodies is not a recent practice, but a direct inheritance of the colonization process that attributed – notably to black and indigenous people – the sub-human status as a destructive prerogative. From this, I discuss how the insertions and purges of LGBTQIA+ bodies from the urban space take place, placing this discussion specifically in the city of Salvador, Bahia, from establishments aimed mainly at the lesbian and dyke local population. With the portrait of the bars Caras & Bocas and Sapoti, I question the visible and invisible geographical barriers that vilify the right to public affection and to dissident collective memory, built from and by means of socialization spaces compulsorily boycotted by heteronormative civil society.

Esta cartilha é uma iniciativa do Programa Internacional de Pesquisas "Countering Backlash Agains... more Esta cartilha é uma iniciativa do Programa Internacional de Pesquisas "Countering Backlash Against Women's Rights and Gender Equality" (Combatendo a Reação Contra os Direitos das Mulheres e Igualdade de Gênero) do Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex), sediado no Brasil no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre Mulheres, Gênero e Feminismos (PPGNEIM/UFBA). Uma das ações realizadas pelo grupo de pesquisa no ano de 2022 foi o curso de extensão intitulado "Pautas feministas nas mídias: direitos reprodutivos e violência política de gênero", que aconteceu nos dias 29, 30 e 31 de agosto. O curso foi voltado para comunicadoras, blogueiras e jornalistas que tivessem algum interesse ou atuação com as pautas feministas tratadas, contribuindo, assim, para a sua formação e prática na cobertura desses temas, sobretudo direitos reprodutivos e violência política de gênero. Ambas as pautas ganham mais relevância em ano eleitoral, sendo tema frequente de matérias na imprensa-destacamos em 2018 o assassinato da vereadora Marielle Franco e, como exemplo recente, o caso da menina de 11 anos de Santa Catarina que recorreu ao aborto legal; a exposição midiática da gestação decorrente de estupro e doação do bebê pela atriz Karla Castanho; e a desistência da candidatura de Manuela D'Ávila após ameaças de morte no Rio Grande do Sul. Dada a importância e vigência dessas temáticas na nossa sociedade, essa cartilha se dá como um desdobramento não apenas deste curso de extensão, mas de toda a pesquisa realizada no ano passado.
