The digital economic system has changed the pattern of relationships between service providers an... more The digital economic system has changed the pattern of relationships between service providers and consumers in conducting transactions. Starting from the opportunity given by the Supreme Court to online taxi service providers as part of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (from now on MSMEs), application services such as Go-Jek and Grab are now becoming new spaces for national economic growth. This study will specifically answer how the judicial review process becomes a form of incremental policy, which is very important for business continuity in the industrial era 4.0. This paper can fill the research gap regarding policy alternatives response in supporting the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. This paper will be portrayed using doctrinal research methods and statutory approaches in descriptive and prescriptive styles. As a result, this paper demonstrates that the Supreme Court, as the judiciary institution, plays a central role in responding to changing societal needs. The rationality of business actors in the theory of economic analysis of law has led them to step up and look for responsive policy alternatives. This condition is proven by the judicial

This paper has as objective to discuss about the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts in border regi... more This paper has as objective to discuss about the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts in border regions having as special focus the limitation of freedom of movement and the related matters linked to tourism and other economic sectors in border regions. The first aspect to be analyzed is the loss of tourists/travelers because of the closure of borders and the consequences of this reduction to border regions especially. Then it is discussed the economic, cultural and local routine aspects changed in virtue of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the next point it is presented some policies created to overcome or to reduce the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic. It is necessary to foster mass vaccination to avoid the spreading of the SARS-CoV 2 virus. After that it is possible to create special visas to vaccinated persons having recent exams with negative result. At last to maintain the sanitary measures such as social isolation and use of products to avoid the spreading of virus.

While talking about legal education, in particular, it has been imparted in all the nations in some form or other, and it is imperative to impart legal education properly to make the members of the society more civilized and stable. Legal education can play a vital role in bringing peace, justice and imparting human rights in society. However, there are numerous challenges that the education systems face all across the globe, and there is a need to look into these challenges for the growth of the society. The researchers in this article have provided a detailed analysis of the education systems in three different countries, that is, Russia, India and Brazil. The researchers have further discussed the issues and challenges in the legal education systems in these countries, and in the end, suggestions have been provided for bringing a change in the global education system.

This paper aims to analyze the protection of cultural properties using two national standards as ... more This paper aims to analyze the protection of cultural properties using two national standards as references, the German Kulturgutschutzgesetz – KGSG and the American Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery Act of 2016 – HEAR. To achieve this objective, it will be used the comparative methodology of standards, in addition to their dialogue with other international standards on the subject. It was used bibliographic and legislative references to achieve a better development of the issue. In the first part, the context of cultural goods and their need for protection is presented. Next, aspects of proximity and differences between the two aforementioned national standards are presented with special attention to the time aspects of both standards. It is concluded that KGSG offers a broader protection and more in dialogue with supranational and international standards than HEAR.

This paper aims to present the recent changes related to the tourism sector in Brazil, especially... more This paper aims to present the recent changes related to the tourism sector in Brazil, especially including all stakeholders linked to the air transport trade. Provisional measures and a technical note were produced to reduce the economic damages caused by COVID-19 and these are the initiatives that will be presented and discussed in this text.
Then, in the second part of the chapter, the new legislative and administrative efforts to try to regulate the current situation and to reduce great impacts on the Brazilian tourism sector and consumers will be presented. So as to offer a timeline of the new rules, we will follow the date of their publishing, thus ordering each action. Finally, it will be offered a dialogued analysis of these new rules with some important norms related to the issue.

Conviver com a tese durante quatro anos envolve tanto a pessoa do pesquisador quanto o equilíbrio do ambiente ao seu redor. A estabilidade deste facilita a serenidade daquela. Logo, os esforços mobilizados pelo doutorando nunca são puramente acadêmicos; visam também a manter uma atmosfera propícia ao trabalho e uma rotina fértil para a pesquisa e para a reflexão. A tese não pode ser abalada pela primeira adversidade que cruza o caminho do aluno. Se a tese exige as competências de um pesquisador, ela demanda outrossim uma habilidade para incorporar esse trabalho duradouro no dia-dia do doutorando. Por isso, a preparação da tese é concomitantemente uma vida de escola e uma escola de vida.
