This article is going to investigate the comparison of learning quality standard between IAIN Surakarta and Kasem Bundit University. In the implementation, whether IAIN Surakarta and Kasem Bundit University have formulas related to the learning quality standard starting from lesson plan, learning process, until its evaluation. However, there is a big difference in the available documents. In IAIN Surakarta the documents are more administrative in purpose since it is in the form of procedure guidelines and have not completed yet. While the documents in Kasem Bundit University are more quality manual in purpose which formulate various learning quality standard of many components, indicators, and its indicator descriptions. Teachers and Employees have a desire to be led by certain people who have a clear vision of the goals, understand how to realize the goals and try to teach them. The role of the leader in a school or madrasa is expected to create a sense of fairness for employees; Characteristics of leaders affect the work climate in an educational institution. Leaders expected by school employees are leaders who are able to provide job satisfaction to employees. This study was designed to examine whether transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Using a sample at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Assyaidiyah, data collection was carried out by distributing 64 questionnaires. Based on the simple linear regression analysis used, the results showed that transformational leadership had a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction.

Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, pada umumnya pendekatan deskriptif digunakan dalam menganalisis fenomenologi social, atau membuat pencandraan mengenai kejadian-kejadian atau situasi-situasi. This research uses quantitative approach with survey methods. The results showed that work-life balance had a significant effect on job satisfaction, but work-life balance did not have a significant effect on organizational commitment and work motivation. This research is a descriptive study – single cross sectional. The type of data used in this study is primary data in the form of a questionnaire. The population of this study is an educator at the University of Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. The number of samples required in this study were 25 respondents from a total population of 100 people. The main problem in this research is that educational institutions or companies must be able to provide a proper place for their employees considering that their contribution is very important in carrying out activities so that an institution or company can be sustainable.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan studi kasus di IAIN Surakarta dan STAIN Salatiga. Subyek penelitian adalah pembuat kebijakan, perencana, penyelenggara, pelaksana, dan pengendali kualitas layanan akademik. Informan penelitian adalah dosen, staf akademik, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen.
