Methodology It used a systematic review of the literature of scientific articles published in the Web of Science and SCOPUS. The search strings were validated by academics, who suggested adding more keywords for studying the relationship between accommodation settings and climate change. As a result, four search strings were established and identified 39 articles for qualitative analysis with MAXQDA. Findings Some studies asserted that corporate social responsibility is important for mitigating climate change issues. hotels work together with local businesses, enforcing the community's adaptive capacity to climate change and supporting the need for education and training programs to understand climate change risks better. Moreover, green human resources management directly relates to the level of environmental awareness in local communities. Using air conditioning for combating heat waves consumes high amounts of energy. One option lies in energy-efficient buildings such as passive houses, using compact designs for reducing the cost of operation. Currently, hotel operations rely more on being more transparent regarding informing guests and influencing eco-friendly choices. On the other hand, there is an investment in training employees regarding good practices for energy use and management. Such action leads to accountable energy savings. Nevertheless, hotels still struggling to adapt because of their elevated energy consumption for heating, hot water, lightning, or cooling aggregates.

Specific objectives were defined to systematize the evolution of digital nomads (DN) from 2020 to 2022 and summarize their sociodemographic characteristics and trends. Through a questionnaire, this quantitative and descriptive study aims to understand the reality of DN in the ARM. The sample consists of 14,960 DN registered within the scope of DNMI project by Startup Madeira, who responded to the questionnaire between November 2020 and December 2022. It was observed that the project attracted DN from all around the world, surpassing 135 countries. The most significant profession represented was "Software and Applications Developers and Analysts." The year 2021 had the highest number of registrations of DN, possibly due to the novelty of Digital Nomads Village project and coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic period. This study provides a significant contribution on multiple levels.

Beginning with a reference to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) of 1948 and its legal ramifications, the paper delves into how AI emulates human intelligence, impacting people's lives and rights. The debate surrounding the need to adapt human rights protection laws to technological innovations is examined, with some authors advocating for legal changes, while others argue for an evolution of existing legislation. The literature review details various legal and ethical concerns related to AI, such as algorithmic transparency, discrimination, cybersecurity, privacy, and accountability. The contribution underscores the complex relationship between AI and human rights, identifying significant challenges that require careful analysis. This contribution seeks to contribute to the understanding of these evolving issues, emphasizing that the discussion is still in the exploratory stages in an increasingly technologydriven world intersecting with human rights.

However, the urgent need for adaptation is evident, particularly in the face of the consequences of the Anthropocene, as described by Leite et al. (2022). Despite the frequent call for a return to "normal," it is crucial to question the desirability of this habitual state, given its influence on environmental issues, unchecked population growth, and unsustainable consumption. Additionally, the concept of "normal" is associated with "business as usual," routine, lack of initiative, and passivity, even in the face of prior knowledge of its negative impacts, as evidenced by Arendt (1964) and Primo Levi (1958). On the other hand, technology, despite its undeniable advantages, imposes a high cost on employment, adding complexity to the scenario. Since the pandemic, despite its devastating effects, there has been significant pressure to adopt emerging technologies. In this regard, the recent World Economic Forum (WEF, 2023) report on the jobs of the future highlights the imminent newness of 85% of professions by 2030, requiring a radically different preparation for future professionals. In this changing landscape, the challenge society is facing is monumental, starting with the university, where the disparity between educational offerings and market demands is evident, as emphasized in the WEF's 2023 report. Curriculum updates are imperative to ensure graduates are prepared for a constantly disruptive market. There is a need for a greater focus on education centered on the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and empathy. The WEF report identifies emerging areas of demand, emphasizing the growing importance of social and emotional skills, as well as specific skills such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and programming, requiring requalification and continuous learning. For this purpose, a descriptive research was conducted with a qualitative strategy applied on different companies in the wine sector. International trade is a Portuguese tradition that started and reached its peak in the 16th century with the Portuguese and Spanish discoveries, which justifies this study. The wine industry, particularly in the Douro Region, has also always been closely linked to foreign trade and has even benefited from a historic trade agreement with the United Kingdom. The empirical results show that companies are practically born international. The size of the domestic market was the main justification for the demand for external markets. The constant evolution of markets and industries generates opportunities and potential threats to which companies must be able to respond.

We have based this study on the theoretical work of Ephraim Kam. Kam hypothesizes that in the political world there is always the potential for the surprise bellicose attack and that these attacks are not predictable. This study argues that, unlike in the political world, many attacks are predictable in business world. The study argues that the reason for past poor predictive success is that the stochastic model has been used only from the quantitative side. That is to say, scholars and practitioners have analyzed businesses from a mathematical and quantitative perspective rather than a holistic perspective. The current study fills in this gap by adding a theoretical qualitative systematized methodology that permits a more extensive business evaluation and its proclivity to be subjected to a hostile takeover. The study accomplishes this goal by means of theoretical design of one moment in financial history, the study of Portugal's leading 16th century businesswoman, Doña Gracia Nasi. Doña Gracia's life sets the stage for introducing several new analytical tools to the world of finance and business. These are: Q theory, hermeneutic literary analysis, and sociological perspectives. By means of new academic tools, the thesis seeks to fill in some of the lacunae within finance and business academic literature.

In this picture, the enterprises come across with increasing difficulties of adaptation that influence their behaviour and makes necessity of cooperation to stand up. To cooperate means to establish preferential relation between the demands in enterprises combined with innovations that can contribute to attain a common aim. The concept is sufficiently all embracing, being able to go from the bottom of a simple relation of supplier-customer till the development of market structures based on the enterprise system establishment. Meanwhile, the typical cases are the joint ventures, the fusions and acquisitions, the sub contraction, the franchising and the licences.
