A total of 70 species and five varieties of mosses in 31 genera and 18 families were recorded fro... more A total of 70 species and five varieties of mosses in 31 genera and 18 families were recorded from the Meliau Range, Ulu Tungud Forest Reserve. Six species are new records for Sabah: Cladopodanthus heterophyllus, Mitthyridium wallisii, Chaetomitrium poecilophyllum, Acroporium downii, Acroporium strepsiphyllum var. strepsiplryllum and Papillidiopsis bruchii. The largest family in terms of number of collected species was Sematophyllaceae, followed by
Calymperaceae and Leucobryaceae.
