Vibration monitoring is the most widely used method for machinery condition monitoring and is considered the most effective method to detect defect in rotating machinery. Therefore, accurate features of vibration signals are required in fault diagnosis of machinery.

These machine consist of components which generate vibration dan heat during operation. Excessive vibration and heat can be indicators of fault in the machine. Therefore, machine condition monitoring is needed to monitor the real time machine condition with proper devices and methods. One of those being developed now is using infrared thermography.

This paper deals with the maintenance technique for industrial machinery using the artificial neu... more This paper deals with the maintenance technique for industrial machinery using the artificial neural network so-called self-organizing map (SOM). The aim of this work is to develop intelligent maintenance system for machinery based on an alternative way, namely, thermal images instead of vibration signals. SOM is selected due to its simplicity and is categorized as an unsupervised algorithm. Following the SOM training, machine fault diagnostics is performed by using the pattern recognition technique of machine conditions.

IMU yang umum digunakan yaitu jenis lowcost yang mudah dimodifikasi dan didapatkan di pasaran. IMU low cost membutuhkan kalibrasi untuk memverifikasi kesalahan-kesalahan akibat hardware pada rangkaian. Kalibrasi IMU menggunakan platform yang dirancang dengan referensi dari sistem carpal wrist device.

With the silicon particle size attenuation, obtained better mechanic properties, which especially shown by higher level tensile strength if compared to the cast material from solidification process which not vibrated.

An elevator which also called as lift is handling equipment that is often applied at high rinse b... more An elevator which also called as lift is handling equipment that is often applied at high rinse building. In this lift design, designs a lift that applied at 20 floors building, with lift's overall height equal to 80m. The applied method for this design is do observation, then do the phase of design with known standards, and literature study. From this design, lift uses induction motor with 11kW of energy that equiped by VVVF control systems. The car, which is loading 15 people, pulled by 6 wire ropes 8x19 type with 13mm of diameter.

Ekstraksi fitur citra dilakukan dengan menghitung luas titik panas pada daerah tinjauan yaitu pada bagian bantalan mesin.
