In 2013 the Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento welcomed the donation of the Archive of the... more In 2013 the Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento welcomed the donation of the Archive of the Agrarian League Movement (AMLA). So as to achieve archive description according to international norms, the material was registered after a research stage in addition to external counseling and UByD personnel training. So as to log the funds, the sections, the series and the documents that make up the AMLA, the multilevel description rules and the presentation of the information in context stipulated in the norm ISAD (G) was observed, this implied studying and redesigning the technological service of the UByD. Adapting the data base and the OPAC meant analyzing the main document management system usually used for archives. To define the structure of the data base where to register the AMLA material, various sources that crosswalk the norm ISAD(G) with MARC 21 were consulted, always bearing in mind that the resulting structure should enable the use of an OPAC that represented the differe...

In 2013 the UNGS received the donation of the archives from 1956 to 1975 of the Agrarian League Movement (AMLA) which mirrors the development of the Rural Catholic Argentine Northern Agrarian Leagues. So as to meet specific international description such as ISAD (G), ISAAR (CPF), NEDA, and others in use in our information units, for instance MARC y EAD, DC and so as to consider the necessary conditions of interoperability, registering this material in the archives has meant a stage of research, external counseling and human resources of the UByD.
