Débora Elise de Almeida has a degree in Art History and a master's student in the line of research Institutions, Discourses and Alterity at the School of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), has scientific research on: The Relationship of Painting by Portrait and Portrayed Personalities of the São Paulo Society and extension of the same theme with an emphasis on: Portrait Painting in the São Paulo Society: Characteristics and Importance for the History of Art in Brazil, a theme which she is a researcher in the collection of the Santa Casa Museum of São Paulo .

Currently, the institution has a set of more than 200 portraits. It is intended to analyze the initial collection of this gallery.
