and study how to learn. Models are one of them for creating a learning environment in the classroom. The
teaching models have been classified into three main types, as Philosophical teaching models (John Locke),
Psychological models of teaching and Modern teaching models. The Philosophical teaching models includes
the Insight model, the Impression model and the Rule model. Pioneer of impression mode l John Locke
concluded in his educational thoughts that, “No proposition can be said to be in the mind and “Virtue
generally approved, not because innate, but because profitable” No any specific theory of using Impression
Model as like concept attainment m odel, inquiry model etc. but researcher has taken reference of
Behavioristic theory and the Constructivist approach for making impression model as a student teacher
centric model. The major concern of most of the teachers is how to impress students in the classroom by
using strategies and models. Hence, to know the advantage of impression model researcher has conducted
this study. Objectives of the study are
1.To design the elements of impression model.
2.To design the syntax the impression model.
3.To design impression making process of impression model.
4.To design teaching learning plan (Lesson plan) of impression model.
5.To orient to B.Ed. M.Ed.(Integrated) semester V student teachers about the impression model.
6.To implement the impression model o n B.Ed. M.Ed.(Integrated) semester V student teachers.
7.To implement the impression model on B.Ed. student teachers.
8.To know opinion on impression model by B.Ed. M.Ed.(Integrated) semester V student teachers.
The present research is descriptive survey r esearch. For the research sample B.Ed. M.Ed. (Int.) student
teachers were selected by convenient sampling method. Researcher made questionnaire was used to collect
data by considering pilot testing and analyzed by using qualitative method. Conclusions are found that
Impression Model is very good to use but preparation is required by the teachers for impressing students. We
can use various strategies for implementing the model. Though it is time consuming but it makes teaching
learning process enjoyable and enthusiastic.

Membersof the society are also called stakeholders as students and their parents, institution and industries, faculty and government. They can affect the educational institutions actions or be affected by their actions, objectives and policies of education .In our India, national goals are achieved through education. Stakeholders want outcomes from education in the form of knowledge, attitudeskills, values what their children get andlearn through curriculum or programme of Educational Institutions. Hence, it is responsibility of Educational Institutions to develop their programmes and courses which are outcome based .The programme is nothing but the curriculum which includes totality of students experiences that occur in the educational processes in the form of Extracurricular activities, Co-curricular activities along with Theory and practicum components. The course is nothing but the syllabus which is part of the curriculum. For example M.Ed. is curriculum while its core papers, practicum, dissertation, internship, field visits, optionalpapers, specializationpapers, educational tour are the courses throughout the Semesters. The programme has purpose or aim which is satisfied through the objectives of each courses hence, each course should have objectives so that learning outcomes can be easily identified. Learning outcomes Education that is outcome based is a learner centered, result oriented, future oriented. Outcome focuses on programme, courses and instructional efforts which we want all students to demonstrate when they leave their institutions. Inshortoutcomes means what students don't know before but learn after completion of the programme.

How students think on given situation is mostly related to their previous experiences. Constructivist approach supports to whole development of students that is cognitive, social, radical, cultural and critical domain. Curricular Engagement is a methodological term that maintains relation with school, society, students, teachers and media. Mostly it emphasizes on building of relationship between school and society based on planed activities. Student’s centric approach is central theme in the Curricular Engagement. How to engage students in their study is a Curricular Engagement. Relationship between Curricular Engagement and Constructivist approach depends on understanding their principles, theory and implementing process. The theory of Curricular Engagement and constructivist approach is not same but we can implement Curricular Engagement with practice of constructivist approach. RMC Research Corporation, K-12 Service-Learning Project Planning Toolkit (2009 Updated Edition) (Created By RMC Research Corporation 6 for Learn and Serve America’s National Service-Learning Clearinghouse) have given standards for service-learning 1. Duration and Intensity, 2.link to curriculum, 3. Meaningful Service,4.Youth Voice,5. Diversity, 6. Partnerships,7. Reflection.8. Progress Monitoring, which are also equivalent to Curricular Engagement. In this paper, the researchers have considered these standards and indicators and which ‘Reflection’ standard was selected and developed the criterias of selected indicators with the help of constructivist approach. The topic selected from VIII standard Geography textbook was ‘Human and Natural Environment’. Descriptive method was used and documentary analysis was made. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistic and Conclusion was drawn as per the objectives.

Most of the concepts learning came through deliberate efforts of human being by formal education and training in the process of establishment of cognitive structure, which can be possible through constructivist approach of teaching and learning. Science textbooks sometimes contain misconceptions and alternative conceptions about science so unless the teachers take deliberate efforts to minimize these, students cannot learn these correctly. There are many conceptual change strategies to understand science concepts and to reduce misconceptions in science. The present paper focuses on different conceptual change strategies to learn scientific concepts meaningfully & to minimize misconceptions in science.

It has gained laudable place among the languages of the world. Colonization of British people in different parts of the world and the establishment of their governments there had enabled the people of those countries to learn English mainly for administrative and communicative purpose. Therefore, even after the colonial rule came to an end in those countries, even after years of emancipation, English is being learnt and used. In a multilingual country like India, the importance and value of English are too well known to be elaborated. It acts as an integrating and cementing force. It is used to get scientific and technological knowledge and is a tool for intellectuals and writers to express themselves. The standard of teaching English as well as its grammar and comprehension of students has declined over the years because of examination oriented methods of teaching and pupil’s dependence on digests and guides, learning by rote memory etc. hamper the development of right method of teaching of English Grammar. The present study examined the effects of teaching English grammar of standard VIII through CAI and Conventional methods in development of positive attitude and enhancing achievement of students in English grammar. Basically, the students at primary education level require learning the basic concepts and principles of English grammar. So, it is essential to determine the best ways to integrate technology of teaching and content of English grammar. Keeping this purpose in view, the present study has been designed. In this Experimental research pre-test and post-test parallel group design was used. Both Control and Experimental groups were matched on the bases of intelligence scores. In this Experiment both the CAI method and Conventional method of teaching English Grammar were the independent variables and Attitude towards English grammar and Achievement in the English grammar were the dependent variables. The CAI package was developed by using suitable softwares. The study drew 50 students each from the Control and Experimental groups from vernacular (Kannada) medium from rural India. The tools used for the study were Non-verbal group intelligence test for matching the 2 groups, Attitude scale towards English grammar for students and Achievement test of students in English grammar. The reliability and validity of Attitude scale and Achievement test was tested. In pursuance of the purpose of the present study 2-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s Test and‘t’ Test were used to test the hypotheses. Since the obtained ‘t’ value 30.98 is greater than the table ‘t’ value 2.01with df 48 at 0.05 level, the difference is significant. Therefore, it can be concluded that change in the attitude of VIII standard students towards the English grammar in experimental group is significant. Since the obtained ‘t’ value 7.85 is greater than the table ‘t’ value 2.01with df 48 at 0.05 level, the difference is significant. Therefore, it can be concluded that achievement of VIII students in the English grammar in experimental group is significant. Thus the findings revealed that Teaching English Grammar through CAI is more effective than the Conventional method for changing the attitude of students towards English Grammar and enhancing achievement of students in English Grammar. The result of the study is in concurrence with some studies abroad and India.

This approach also believes that knowledge should be constructed. The cost of these failures both to the individual and society is enormous. Learning must be caused by the learner, when student learn about learning, they take charge of their own learning and burden of having to cause learning among teachers get minimized and teachers can concentrate on teaching and the goal of teaching becomes the achievement of shared learning. Hence, there should be powerful strategies to help students to learn and help to organize learning events. The present Research article describes the development of concept food chain by IX std. Students and effectiveness of the concept mapping technique on their achievement of the concept food chain.
