This system assumes the absence of any systematic government intervention in the foreign exchange market, so exchange rate will move freely in response to market force. It mean that exchange rate is determined by fundamentals, risk, and exchange rate (Rp/US$) expectation factor. The purpose of this research is to identify the problems of the correlation of fundamental factor (like is differences of interest rate, relative prices rate, Real GDP, money supply, net foreign assets, foreign direct investment, foreign indirect investment, external debt growth, payment of private external debt, export, and import), risk factor (country risk index), and expectation of exchange rate (Rp/US$) against rupiah’s exchange rate after applying the freely floating exchange rate system in august 14, 1997. Presearch using a sample of 26 companies of 65 population Basic industrial and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015, which is determined by purposive technique. The variables observed include debt policy as an independent variable, dividend policy as the dependent variable, and firm size as a moderating variable. The analysis tool uses regression moderating analysis (MRA). The results prove that the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) has a negative and insignificant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), firm size negatively moderates and there is a significant relationship between capital structure and dividend policy.

The study used a panel data model with fixed effect estimates for 34 provinces from 2011 to 2019. We used the education index formula from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to estimate human capital. The results showed that the human capital variable in the current year (HC) to human capital year-3 (HCt-3) had a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, variable of the human capital year-5 (HCt-5) to human capital year-7 (HCt-7), has a significant positive effect on economic growth. This study also found that the human capital variable year-4 (HCt-4), although the direction is positive, is not statistically significant for economic growth. This paper is useful for policy makers in Indonesia to increase human capital by improving the quality of education .

First, we apply the GARCH panel to estimate the intraday effect for all the sampled countries. Second, we run poolability test to check whether the coefficients of the GARCH panel are the same for all countries sampled. The result of poolability test rejects the homogeneity assumption. This implies that our sample countries contain heterogeneity. Third, we apply mean-group estimation by averaging the coefficients for all individual GARCH estimations. Fourth, we divided our sample of developing countries into three groups based on capital restriction index for the reason that the effect of monetary policy on the exchange rate depends on the degree of capital account liberalization. The empirical evidence for the return equation suggests that Mondays are connected with lower...

This research uses secondary data during the periods of 2007-2016. The research methodology used in this study is panel data regression with FEM (Fixed Effect Model). The results of this research show that simultaneously, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER), differences in interest rates and inflation have significant impact on capital flight. Partially, all of variables have significant positive impact on capital flight. However, the variable of REER shows insignificant to capital flight.

Its existence can encourage a faster acceleration in a country's economic growth. This research was conducted to study the determinants of human capital in the context of provinces in Indonesia, which consists of per capita GRDP, availability of per capita deposits, per capita health sector budget realization, and per capita education budget realization during the period 2015 to 2019. Human capital is calculated using the average years of schooling and the expected years of schooling which are formulated in an education index as the UNDP's education index formula in estimating human capital. The findings of this research are that human capital in the current year is positively and significantly affected by per capita GRDP, per capita health sector budget realization, and per capita education budget realization. Also affected positively but not significantly by the availability of savings per capita. This research is useful for pol...

According to the results of the σ-convergence analysis, it is found that the dispersion explains the convergence process of the educational index gap. Then confirmed by the results of conditional β-convergence analysis by the System-GMM model, it was found that the convergence speed was relatively slow. This is a consequence of the role of government budget management which has not been optimal. In terms of regional revenues, it is found that the specific purpose transfer and the general purpose transfer have a significant negative effect on the convergence of the education index. Then from the expenditure side, it is known that direct expenditure has a significant positive effect on convergence, while indirect expenditure is not significant. Thus, this evidence opens up opp...
