Modelling and Simulation (MS) is considered very useful in providing information related to the p... more Modelling and Simulation (MS) is considered very useful in providing information related to the performance of a system. Through MS, we can imitate and project the real state of a method to get information about the time of manufacture. Our research focuses on modelling and simulation with Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and Agent-Based Simulation (ABS) using AnyLogic Software to provide information related to the pesticide production process at PT DAI. The results of this study provide an overview of the production process in 2D with some information such as processing time, machine idle time, and overall system utilization. Processing percentage values obtained from nine work stations in the range 89.93% -99.99% and overall system utilization with a value of 0.94.

In the industrial world, quality control is essential to meet customer demand. The problem formulated in this study is the assessment of the Defect of the Cutter Case produced by PT. The object in this study is the Cutter Case product. The number of samples used was 450 units. The Cutter Case will be inspected for the number of defective products and defect criteria that are met for each product unit, and the length and width of the product surface. Rules for the type of defect studied were melting, non-jagging, and bent. The method used in solving problems in this study is the Six Sigma method, namely DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control).

Clothing products are also known as the time changing industry, which is an industry that must continue to innovate to meet consumer desires. Berastagi clothing products are one of the typical souvenirs of the Berastagi tourism area. Based on a preliminary survey conducted on 84 tourists, 70.24 percent stated that the dress design was not attractive. As many as 70 percent of the tourists state that the design of these clothes is outdated. Therefore it is necessary to design new clothes designs. Th... more There are some factors and variables that have a strong relationship in a supply chain system. This also applies to consumer goods derived from agricultural products. Tropical fruits as agricultural products have a large number of consumers in North Sumatra. The number of sales of tropical fruit is strongly influenced by selling price. The flow of this product from farm to consumer involves supplier, consumer, and producer supply chain subsystem. This study begins by expanding the main model of the tropical fruit's supply chain and come across the matter variables. Anylogic software is being used for the method analysis and applied by modeling and simulation of the tropical fruit supply chain. The results indicate that the supply chain of tropical fruit in North Sumatra is cross-sectoral due to it is relative to some consecutive relation.

To estimate how long the product will arrive to the consumer can be obtained by performing a real system simulation and a software-based digital system. An inventory on Disaster Centre is arrange in order to meet the demand of retailers. The determination of distribution routes that can reduce waste in terms of the use of transportation facilities as to minimize the time, and distance is analized by Distribution requirement planning method. Using the selected forecasting function based on the time series method, the total demand for the next 12 months is obtained, by calculating by applying the distribution requirement planning method, an total request cannot be fulfilled decrease by 67.38% from 417 orders to 136 orders.

The focus of improvement is on minimizing the environmental damage. Minimization of environmental impacts is carried out from starting the process of industry until the finishing step. Durian supply chain is affected by some variables such as producers, suppliers and consumers. Thi... more Durian supply chain is affected by some variables such as producers, suppliers and consumers. This supply chain system must be analyzed deeply to get the optimum value to solve problem that have occurred so far related with economic, social and environmental aspect. This research begins by developing the primary model of supply chain of durian and find the problem variables. Then the system analysis is done through modeling and simulation of durian supply chains using anylogic software. The results show that the durian industrial system in North Sumatra is cross-sectoral because it is related to several related relationships. Optimization is carried out with a supply chain behavior prediction system in the next 10 years seen from social, economic, and environmental aspects. After increasing productivity from 0.72% by 1.69%, the use of chemical-based fertilizers is 104.952 tons / year in the following 10 years. In addition to the economic aspect, the increase in farmer profits to Rp. 2,475,010,917, -, adding labor to 250,340 people / year.

The competitive market that has taken place in the millennial era requires companies to have strategic plans, critical attitudes and attention to the role of the environment. The company's business strategy must be revised, for example supply chain activities. Supply Chain activities focus to achieve a greener environmental. The focus of improvement is on minimizing the environmental damage. Minimization of environmental impacts is carried out from starting the process of industry until the finishing step. Activities carried out include green design, saving resources, reducing hazardous materials and recycling or reusing products. With helping of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) integrating action will activates all of the manufacturing process in an industry more safe and healthy and safe for environment and human life. Many factors that become the drivers of GSCM. Based on reports from companies in various countries of the world, those who have implemented GSCM have proven that there is an increase in company profits.

Durian supply chain is affected by some variables such as producers, suppliers and consumers. Thi... more Durian supply chain is affected by some variables such as producers, suppliers and consumers. This supply chain system must be analyzed deeply to get the optimum value to solve problem that have occurred so far related with economic, social and environmental aspect. This research begins by developing the primary model of supply chain of durian and find the problem variables. Then the system analysis is done through modeling and simulation of durian supply chains using anylogic software. The results show that the durian industrial system in North Sumatra is cross-sectoral because it is related to several related relationships. Optimization is carried out with a supply chain behavior prediction system in the next 10 years seen from social, economic, and environmental aspects. After increasing productivity from 0.72% by 1.69%, the use of chemical-based fertilizers is 104.952 tons / year in the following 10 years. In addition to the economic aspect, the increase in farmer profits to Rp. 2,475,010,917, -, adding labor to 250,340 people / year.
