The purpose of this study is to evaluate the importance of QM CSFs in Iranian SME’s hotels firms.... more The purpose of this study is to evaluate the importance of QM CSFs in Iranian SME’s hotels firms. Primary criteria to evaluate QM CSFs are achieved by the literature survey. Through the FDM by industries and academia experts the importance CSFs were categorized in three main factors and 16 sub-factors. Two fuzzy MCDM methods are applied; fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS. The finding of this study indicated that human factors had the first rank from three perspectives and leadership as a sub-factor was the first rank from 16 sub-factors.

The chief idea behind this study was that the CSFs of KM has a direct effect on OI and indirect effects through OL. A serious gap has been explored, by an intensive assessment of previous study, in the literature on relationships among CSFs of KM, OL and OI. Subsequently, based on the knowledge base view (KBV) theory, this study has attempted to fill the gap between KME and OI with role of OL for competitive advantage. A conceptual framework has been proposed in this research study. This framework has been considered as a contribution towards the enhancement of the related literature. Furthermore, this study is a stepping stone for further research on finding the importance of CSFs of KM with respect to enhancing the OI.
The retailers have a tendency to involve in the procedure of buying and to produce an atmosphere ... more The retailers have a tendency to involve in the procedure of buying and to produce an atmosphere to convince the people for buying goods. The overall purpose of the paper is to gain insights into impulse buying behavior among Iranian shoppers and to arrive at a better understanding on how situational, personal, and product related factors influence impulse buying. The cross-sectional survey design is the specific survey method employed in this research. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire and the samples were selected based on the cluster sampling method that includes 207 participants. Findings show that situational variables (store environment) have a positive influence on impulse buying through positive mood and the felt urge to buy has a mediator role between impulse buying tendency and impulse buying. The study also found that demographic variables (job status) has not moderation role between the hedonic shopping and felt urge to buy impulsively. The findings of the research contribute to the knowledge, retailers and salesperson training. This study demonstrates empirically which important factors influence on impulse buying behavior among Iranian consumers.

As the concept of becomes more widely accepted, supply chain integration (SCI) is gaining more attention among both practitioners and academics. The paper aims at understanding how SCI and its antecedents, impacts firm performance. For the literature review of the related academic articles for the previous studies has been taken by international journals in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. The study looked at some variables such as trust and information technology (IT) that might impact the SCI and finally improve firm performance. Therefore, it is crucial for managers to apply their firms IT and trust as lower-order organizational capabilities to improve SCI as a higher-order organizational capability. To aid the study, Resourced-Based View (RBV) theory has been developed as the framework for the present research. The paper also proposes the framework for future research in empirical investigation in manufacturing. This study bridges the gap by developing a framework for measuring SCI, which enables any
organization to identify critical success factors for integrating their SC, measures the degree of integration qualitatively and quantitatively and suggest improvement measures.

Organizations that are agile happen to be more successful. The agility of an organization is dependent on the agility of its supply chain. The main aim of this paper is to give a new dimension in explaining how Trust, Information Technology (IT) and agility can create sustained competitive advantage for firms and develop an integrated framework to facilitate this. For the literature review of the related academic articles for the previous studies has been taken by international journals in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. Achievement of supply chain agility (SCA) is linked to the other organization's resources, namely trust, IT and firm performance that play mediator role between them. IT is considered as a competitive tool by researchers and practitioners. Therefore, it is crucial for managers to apply their firms' IT and trust as lower-order organizational capabilities to improve agility as a higher-order organizational capability. Hence, the current article gives a conceptual framework to ascertain factors which affect SCA and finally firm performance. The findings of this study will present interesting information and insight about how to improve agility in small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs). Moreover, the information presented in this study will be the foundation of future supply chain capability studies. To aid the study, this present study for develop the framework has been used the RBV theory. The paper also proposes the framework for future research in empirical investigation in companies. The sample has been selected in the 92 executives in county and municipal government organizations in Iran. Particularly, this study examined municipal government and county employees working in 30 different county departments with the 10 highest populations in Iran. The results of hypothesis test showed that there are no relationship between cultural factors and knowledge management effectiveness.

The sample was collected from 150 managerial personnel of Iranian small and medium enterprises (SME's) in 30 companies. The survey result is analysis by regressing cultural dimensions on TQM values. Our results suggest that power distance is the most influential cultural element and impacts all six TQM values and masculinity has no significant affect to TQM values except emphasis on TQM oriented training.

The adoption of TQM requires the participation of all members in the organization working as a team. Garvin believes that, TQM is itself a philosophy with its own existence and does not incline toward any particular country or national culture. This study investigates the impact of national culture by the Hofstede dimension on soft total quality management (STQM) in Iranian Multinational firms. This research employs two of national culture dimensions and the seven elements of TQM implementation. A total of 100 Iranian Small and Medium Enterprises participates in this survey. The survey result is an analysis by regressing cultural dimensions of TQM elements.

On the basis of the resourcebased view, this paper investigates relationship between Information Technology (IT) investments and firm performance. The research assesses whether innovation is moderated by firm growth and this study investigated the mediation effects of innovation on IT's impact on firm performance. A set of hypotheses rooted in the resource-based view theories of the firm was created and empirically tested. Survey email invitation approach was employed to send a letter of invitation to 1,100 potential participants at 300 firms to participate in the study. To analyze the data, both mediated regression and hierarchical linear regression models were utilized; and following controlling for firm growth. The results of this study indicate that IT increases the innovation of the firm. Innovation improves firm performance in terms of financial and operational. Results also indicate that IT's impact on innovation is significantly moderated by firm growth. Finally, the results indicate that IT's impact on firm performance is through innovation. This suggests that firms should consider IT investments that improve the firm's capabilities in order to achieve a significant impact on firm performance. The main purpose of this paper is to offer the new perspectives in illumination how IT can create a sustained competitive advantage for the firm.
