If you feel the need to debate every move the Valencia boys make, from what jackets they are wearing to their incessant need to hug on camera via the colour of their eyes, this is the place for you!

Here we talk about everything and anything related to the magnificence that is

Valencia CF, from the slightly serious pre-game nerves and post-game emotions to the fangirling of Rami's abdomen, Tino’s glorious hair and Emery's pointing. Hell, we even talk a little about some other teams just because they have players that used to be ours. And the Spanish NT gets quite a few mentions during the international breaks. As the name suggests, this is a place for

FANGIRLING! Here at vcf_fangirls , we concentrate on the longstanding short-shorts battle, cheering the boys on as they make yet new attempts to be the one player showing the most thigh while still clothed. This is a community devoted to the awesomeness that is Valencia CF in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and the serious topics, though more than welcomed, encouraged and discussed, sometimes get eclipsed by hot pictures. But don’t let that scare you, we want your thoughts and speculations on transfers, presidents and club bizniz too, it’s just that it tends to get depressing. Oh the joy of Los Che...

What we don’t want here, and we know it’s hard to believe as Valencia is slash paradise, is fanfiction. Sorry. There will undoubtedly be some, ahem, undertones in certain posts as the boys can’t keep their hands off each other, but

fics and fan art of that type are not allowed here. But we’re very happy to have your icons, your mood themes and other art related to the team and the players!

Fangirling is something we all love from time to time, we don’t mind if you come and go in your participation although of course

we want you to be as active as possible! Make your own love posts, picspams, rumour mill freak outs, teams, srs bzns of doom, we want it all!

This is a spin-off community to ontd_football. If you’ve been there, all you need to know is this is basically the exact same, but with only Valencia themed news, pics, videos, etc. We’ve created this place as a supplement for the Valencianistas because we felt our fangirling needs sometimes surpass those of the other teams there and frankly other fans don’t need to know how all Valencia players ever only have one decent haircut in their lives. This community is to give both them a breather and to make us feel less pathetic and to keep the peace. We can be quite loud in our love sometimes and there’s no need to drive people insane just because Emery glanced at Carcedo.

Rules In no specific order, please keep to these guidelines: 1. Respect others! Okay, we’re all probably Valencia CF fans here, but that doesn’t mean you can hate on other teams or players. A comment here or there is fine, but a whole post devoted to taking someone else down because he dared to tackle Matita is not cool. It’s football, they tackle, get over it. 2. Respect yourselves! We’re all here to have a good time, share a joke and cry a little. It’s fangirling, ffs, not something to cut each other’s heads off for. If someone prefers Miguel to Mathieu then so be it! Live and let live! If you must comment on a post you don’t agree with, say something nice about the weather or –gasp– a srs comment where you start a nice little conversation about it all. Also, hate words and rude comments about a specific community member ON A COMMUNITY POST is not cool, and not okay. Not only will Batscot cut you down, repetitive assholish behaviour gets you a tarjeta roja and then there’s no fangirling for you. However, cursing, swearing and ahem, implications, are alright. Just think a little.

Post! Post! Post! While your moderators are spam whore extraordinaires we want all the help we can get! Even if it’s just a short quote from Pablo on his love for cars or a far too heavy epic picspam post of former Vcf players, we want it. This is fangirling people, it ain’t too clever.

No slash fic! Or fic of any kind. Or slashy art. Sorry. We’re keeping it clean.

LJ-cuts! Learn it, use it, love it. One or two pics? Fine. 10 pics? Not fine. 100 pics? Go to the LJ FAQ and learn about the LJ cut function. Not everybody appreciates seeing the same manpile from ten different angles in the middle of their friends list. They obviously have the wrong principles, but let’s be nice to them.6. Tags! They’re the shit, and PLEASE use them so we can all find our very own loverboy quickly. You can find them all at the tags page, and if you’re missing something or don’t know which tag goes with which player or activity and can't find it in the tag guide, ask a mod to add a tag! 7. Mods! If you have a question about anything regarding the comm, want to rat out another member or are a little unsure about how to tag something or maybe need even more help with that damn LJ-cut, then ask a mod! We’re European so we’ll act like you’re stupid but we’ll sort it no problem!

Like Monica Geller once said, 'rules make the fun', so please follow them or it will get very sad in here. If your entry does not follow the rules (ie, no LJ cut), be warned that the entry may be deleted by the mods.

HAVE FUN!!! Don’t be afraid to comment!!! Or too shy to post!!! We’re ALL insane, it’s not just you. It might not come across that way but we’re all very nice and even funny at times, so just use your elbows and make some room. We’ll even have a little corner for the non-vcf fans! Some members will be more active than others, but know that as long as you love Valencia CF or even just one player, you’ll always have friends here whether you chose to scream about it or just lurk for laughs.
