God damnit. I took my "under arm" temperature this morning.. and it was 97.2.

>_<

And it is entirely too possible what I inflicted this on myself. "Overuse of diet pills".

So. Three more mornings of taking my temperature. If it consistently keeps showing under 97.7, I'm a fucktard.

I started my aerobics class today. Leaves a happy sore feelings all over.

My order of this and this should arrive this Friday. Yes lipoderm does work. Until you cheat and which it will all come back quite nicely. The lipoderm is more on reserve til I hit my goal weight/body fat % and then I'll use it on my problem areas. The Mega Milk is because I hate having to pack 4 tupperware containers to carry food around with me. It'd be nice to mix it and put it in a bottle and drink it when I want to.

Something has ripped up my stomach something fierce because I get nauseated all the time. Not certain what it is, but it's half air bubbles in my stomach induced.

Xenadrine NRG works pretty admirably for helping me lose inches, until I work a night shift and eat potatoe chips. ~_~ Doing better this week. I've been cutting it close to being on time whenever I run out the door, so food's been less a priority lately. I wish I could find an mrp(meal replacement bar) that doesn't have sugar and/or sugar alcohols in it. o.< Unless its made with Stevia I do NOT like anything with sugar in it. Maybe I should look into recipes to making my own or something. With what(considering convential methods of cooking get kicked out the window with no wheat or sugar), I really dont know but hey, its a thought. I remember something my mom used to make for my little brother(who I highly suspect is hyperglucomic because he gets REALLY upset if he doesn't eat for a few hours). She took peanut butter, and powdered sugar, and mixed it and rolled it into balls and refridgerated it. If she was out running errands or osmething, he'd always having something easy to eat. I'll think of something eventually. Hopefully. Spinach, salmon, and what not does not travel well and I've sick of raw nuts. Maybe I can figure out a way to mix nuts and oatmeal.. but how to make it stick together? Natural peanut butter? But that melts.. mer.

Also ordered 3 (45 count) bottles of Xenadrine Carbo-cut for .99 each on ebay. One is here, more should arrive soon. Phwee.

1 stick butter or margarine
4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
dash of salt
6 c. quick cook oats
3 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 c. peanut butter (creamy or
crunchy)

In a large saucepan, mix butter, sugar, cocoa, milk and
salt. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 3
minutes only. Remove from heat and add oats, vanilla and
peanut butter. Spread into well greased jelly roll pan, 15 x
10 x 1-inch. Allow to cool and cut into squares.

That minus sugar maybe? And swap in soy milk for milk.

ladybuggle: Diet & Acne Link?

Feedback—Your FAQs Answered

What connection is there between a high GI diet and acne?

The jury is still out on the acne diet link. But the debate is ongoing. After Prof Loren Cordain and his colleagues published ‘Acne Vulgaris: A Disease of Western Civilization,’ Archives of Dermatology/Vol 138, December 2002) we have received a number of questions asking where you can read more about GI and acne.

In Cordain’s article, he and his colleagues note the complete absence of acne among the non-westernized Kitavan Islanders living on the Trobriand Islands near Papua New Guinea and the Aché hunter-gatherers of Paraguay. According to Cordain, the perfect skin could not be explained just by genetic factors, but likely was the result of differing environmental factors including diet. The Kitavan diet consists mainly of fruit, fish and tubers and is virtually uninfluenced by Western foods. The Aché diet includes wild (game) and foraged foods, locally cultivated foods (peanuts, maize, rice and sweet manioc, a native root) and a small percentage of Western foods (pasta, flour, sugar, tea and bread).

Cordain believes the Western diet filled with refined carbs permanently boosts the production of the hormone insulin, which leads to acne. By elevating growth factors and hormones, insulin indirectly stimulates the overproduction of oil and skin cells in pores. Clogged pores nourish bacteria, forming infected blemishes.

Follow up research on GI and acne is underway but nothing has yet been published. However, you can read Cordain’s article in full on http://www.thepaleodiet.com (PDF, 108 kB).

So, I won the battle with my family about (a) breading all meats and (b) cooking with olive oil rahter than gross canola oil. And about letting me cook my veggies.

However, being at home is still stressing me out.

AND.. I have the most annoying sub conscious ever. It EATS FOR ME DAMNIT. I was napping the other day..(for a really long time).. and I woke up. And I guess I was REALLY out of it, because I wandered out into the kitchen, ATE A PIECE OF MY MOMS DAMN CAKE(or two ;_;), wandered back into my room, and THEN my brain went...

"Did I just eat cake?"

::facepalm:: I swear, my brain is never functioning til five minutes after I'm awake. I've done this before, (in the dorm room with cookies that I had originally gotten for stephen), and I blamed it on food being in teh same room as I'm sleeping in.

x_X; Wtf. Its like.. sleep-food-walking.

Rawr. ><

The good news is that I managed to do a full 40 minutes of power yoga. I MADE IT THROUGH THE STANDING POSES! \o/

JJ, if you wish, I can bring it over and you can get your mom to copy it too. If you wanted something else to try that is. >.> Be forewarned, the first time I did it way back when, I could only do the first 15-20 minutes. Still, up to you.

:( no toast! ._.

Soo.. I was good today! As opposed to the last... five days. Good in what I ate, I mean. I'm still not that bad about how much I eat, I just like.. cheat on small little random things. Which adds up. x_X

...it helps to have food I can cook myself if I get hungry. ^^; That, and for some reason it was ten times easier today to look at things and go "I dont want that I just want it cuz its there." I think I just had to taste test all the new things in the house. :\

Whats even wierder is that I discovered cottage cheese tastes far better than natural yogurt. I didn't get Dannon this time, cuz it wasn't there.. so I got this normal looking "organic" yogurt. Bah. Gross.

Soo.. the list of foods I am allowed to eat on the Perricone diet, for anyone else who wishes to try it:

Salmon(canned and fresh)- this is the big thing you're supposed to eat because it contains all the good Omega 3 fatty acids and DHEA.
Ground flax seed
Oatmeal - big thumbs up for this supposedly
Oranges
Blueberries, strawberries, rasberries(berries basically) - highly recommended
Almonds
Kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans(not baked and preferably not canned)
Pumpkin seeds(I have yet to fathom where to buy these)
Tuna
Turkey
Chicken
Peppers(red, yellow, banana, jalapeno.. pretty much all of them)
Broccoli - again one of his big ticket foods
Eggs
Whole fat plain yogurt - (this is mostly because low and nonfat yogurts contain pectin as a fat substitute.. which is basically more sugar. For clearer skin, you have to cut out the hidden sugar factors)
Cottage cheese

Things you DO NOT EAT because it jumps your blood sugar
Candy containing sugar and or high fructose corn syrup
Anything containing high fructose corn syrup(your body thinks it pretty much a toxin)
Carbonated beverages
Coffee
Bananas
Corn, peas (I know.. wtf?)
White bread, or any bread containing bleached flour and or partially hydrogenated oils.
Rice
Potatoes
Etc.

Basically, its a pro-fish, anti white starchy foods diet. I'm taking alpha lipoic acid, centrum vitamins, fish oil capsules, biotin(yay!) and 5 htp now. Hopefully, some day I'll be able to cycle some of this out. For now, its part of my rawr 28 day program to get better skin/skinnier. I'd take clear skin over skinnyness, so hell.. if I dont get skinnier I wont be too upset. He recommends eating the foods either whole or frozen as much as possible, as canned and processed foods can have hidden ingredients. Also recommends olive oil only for cooking cuz it contains linoleic acid? which helps your body absorb omega 3 fatty acids. Which I'll be eating alot of I think.

Ok, enough ranting.

Bloody hell.. I'm at 36" hips again, because of my laziness. x_X; And the fact that I have apparently pulled a muscle in my upper right leg, damnit.

I'll.. work out all of next week. Since I'll only have one exam per day. >_

I want more Stackers. ;_______; Specially for this summer!

Read an article recently that Ex-lax or a similar product can fix a binge meal, if you take it close to when you ate. It only works a few times before your body needs more of the ex-lax for it to work. Crazy, eh?
