"What Beatrice had done with her face, actually, was what any plain girl could do. She had overlaid it with dignity, suffering, intelligence, and a piquant dash of bitchiness."
~Kurt Vonnegut, Sirens of Titan

I have a Baba Yaga face. The Russians told me so. I am a tall girl with coltish legs and a gigantic nose. I graduated in the allotted four years from Geneva College with a BA in Writing. I grew up in a podunk region of Western Pennsylvania. I once had a really wonderful father, and then he died.

This is what I'm like.

I am an internal optimist, an external pessimist, and an awkward romantic. I am an eccentric super-hero with noodle arms and a big heart. I cannot knit, but I am an awesome cook when motivated enough to do it. I don't play video games, I am not bisexual, a hippie, or wiccan, and I am

definitely

not a geek. I dislike science fiction and anime. Most sports with the exception of basketball are boring to me. When I play cards, I usually end up flinging my cards across the table and wandering off to read a book or flirt with my computer.

I own a house in Frankfort, Kentucky with my husband, soopageek. Sometimes other people set up residence here.

I love riding motorcycles, the smell of diesel fuel, and the sound of wind-chimes. Meat is murder--and murder is delicious!

I keep large portions of my past journal entries locked due to overly inquisitive family members and the syrian mafia (back off my baklava!).
