This community is for the recommending of AtS/BtVS fiction (and vids) featuring Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Gen, het, slash, threesome, AU, crossover, ensemble: all types of fic/vid are welcome as long as Wes is in a prominent or starring role.

There will be a different theme for recs each week. All community members are encouraged to seek out stories/vids to rec that fit the theme.

Members are also encouraged to comment on posted recs: praise, analysis, and critique are all welcome. Above all, this is a discussion community.

Posting Guidelines

• Only one vid, story, or story series should be rec'd per post.
• The post should match the following format:

• Can anyone post a recommendation?
  Yes, this is an open community. Just follow the format above and you'll be fine.
• Can I rec my own stories?
  Perhaps; check with the maintainers before doing so. Also, please be judicious. Discussion and critique are encouraged here, so if you rec your own fic you must be prepared for that kind of feedback.
• I found a really great story that doesn't fit the current rec theme. Can I post it anyway?
  Yes! The themes are there to provide inspiration and motivation. You may post recs that don't fit the theme (or that fit past themes) anytime you wish.
• I'm trying to find a specific story or type of story. Can I post a request?
  Absolutely. Just post with "Request:" in the subject line, followed by what you are looking for, with details in the post body.
  Example:

  Subject: Request: Wes/Gunn post-mindwipe fics
  Body: I'm looking for Wes/Gunn fics set in season 5 or post-series, especially ones that have them both getting their memories back. Thanks!

• How do I find stories to rec?
  There are a lot of Wesley stories out there, stretching back to 1998.
  Archives and Communities: See Wesley Resources for the list of Wes LJ communities and fic archives.
  Author's Sites & LJs: When you see an author post a new fic, check their LJ (memories and tags are useful guides) or website for older stories.
  Other Resouces: Check the ficathon_codex for BtVS/AtS ficathons where Wes fic can be found. Other recs sites can be a great resource, especially for older and more obscure stories. (e.g. Versaphile Recs, Slash Sluts) Google searches can lead to authors, recs sites, multifandom sites, and other areas.
