I know that the next chapter of La Petite Mort is still in the works (and I will be continuing it), but right now I wanted to announce that I will also be contributing to the help_japan community.I will be offering one horror fanfic in three parts, each part containing a minimum of 3,000 words, and the fandom will be either for Axis Powers Hetalia or Yami no Matsuei. (The latter will be interesting for me, as I adore that series but haven't written for it yet.) I don't think I can ever properly apologize for the ridiculous delay of the next chapter(s) for La Petite Mort. But here I am: groveling. It was grad school and my internships and my Very Big Important Comprehensive Exam (the one that determines whether I graduate or not) that all made me suffer this semester. The good news is that technically I am done with my Master's degree (if you don't count that last exam that's coming up next Monday, and if you don't count the fact that I won't find out if I passed the Comp until January 4th)... and being technically done with my Master's degree means inevitable unemployment for at least the next three to eight months. And unemployment means: absolutely no excuses for updating!Yes, during my future unemployment, I will (I WILL) turn out more than one chapter per month, so long as my writing fiction coincides with job hunting and phone calls to harass potential employers.Anyway, this is not my personal journal so I should not be rambling. I should be apologizing, because I am sincere when I say that I absolutely did not intend to delay LPM this long. Rest assured, I have not abandoned it.
