Jambi Province is one of the regions that has Malay culture as its original culture. Thehistorica... more Jambi Province is one of the regions that has Malay culture as its original culture. Thehistorical background of Jambi Province is inseparable from the influence of the oldMalay kingdom, namely the Moloyu or Malay kingdom. This historical backgroundmakes the Jambi provincial government want to maintain and make Malay culture alocal culture and become a regional identity. Therefore, the Jambi provincialgovernment in 2013 together with the Jambi Provincial DPRD signed RegionalRegulation number 7 of 2013 concerning the preservation and development of JambiMalay culture. In addition, the government's steps and good intentions to developculture also have a strong legal umbrella, namely the 1945 Constitution. One theory of the arrival of Islam to the archipelago states that the arrival of Islam was brough... more One theory of the arrival of Islam to the archipelago states that the arrival of Islam was brought by merchants. There are those who say that the merchants came from Gujarat and some who got direct opinions from Arabia. Not a few also disagree that Islam was brought to the archipelago by traders, but rather by religious scholars from Arabia. This paper is not to discuss the pros and cons of this theory, but focuses on the relationship between trade activities and Islamization in the Jambi remoted area. By using historical research methods covering heuristics, internal and external criticism, interpretation and historiography, this article argues that the process of Islamization in Jambi is similar to the processes and flows of Islamization that occurred in other regions in Sumatra.

Namun, seringkali menemui perbedaan kemamampuan yang signifikan. Selain itu, ada 3 mahasiswa semester I tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berasal dari Thailand yang dihadapkan pada prose adaptasi. Sehingga, dibutuhkan teman yang saling mendukung. Maka, pelaksanaan lesson study menekankan pada aspek kognitif dan karakter. The data used are primary data collected through direct interviews. Determining the sources using purposive sampling technique. The interview guidelines used were semi-structured interviews. Data analysis techniques, namely the stage of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. This method is used in order to determine the implementation of Islamic spiritual values in entrepreneurship in PLUT KUMKM Partners in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study examined the similarity and difference between Grice’s conversational principles and d... more This study examined the similarity and difference between Grice’s conversational principles and debate competition principles in the grand final of an East Java highshool debate competition. Most highschool debaters including the researcher perceived that there would be differences. Using the result of open-response questionnaires distributed to the adjudicator and 6 participants of the grand final of the competition, the researcher then inteviewed and discussed the debate transcript and the result of open-response questionnaires with some triangulators from the perspective of Grice’s conversational principles and competitive debate principles. The study reported that the maxims that are mostly interpreted differently in this debate are the violation of maxim of quantity and the observation of maxim of quality.
