Celem badania było opracowanie nowej metody dynamicznego planowania zabezpieczenia medycznego wojsk walczących poprzez modelowanie procesów opieki medycznej pola walki, służącej zwiększeniu skuteczności i efektywności zarządzania zasobami systemu ochrony zdrowia oraz poprawie zdolności operacyjnych wojsk walczących. Materiał i metody: Modelowanie procesów opieki medycznej pola walki oparto na powszechnie uznanych czynnikach operacyjnych -sile, czasie i obszarze, rozszerzając tę grupę o dodatkowy, istotny z punktu widzenia organizacji pracy medycznych jednostek polowych parametr -bezpieczeństwo, przypisując jednocześnie wszystkim zmiennym właściwą, odpowiadającą przedmiotowi zagadnienia charakterystykę i interpretację.

The patients were divided into two groups, with and without heated mattress. Considerable growth of unheated mattress temperature was observed while anesthesia, from 30,39±1,42 oC to 32,65±0,51 oC after 1 hour 45 minutes of anesthesia. It reflected great importance of this way of heat loss route. (Heated mattresses usefulness estimation in attempt to maintain balance of heat of patients under long surgical procedures).

Additionally the correlation between immune parameters, severity of asthma and serum concentration of vitamin d was performed. 25 children diagnosed with asthma were enrolled. disease severity was assessed with the Asthma control test (Act) and spirometry. the control group consisted of 15 healthy children. Venous blood from each patient was collected on edtA or on "clott". phenotypes of lymphocytes were evaluated by flow cytometry. Vitamin d concentration was assessed by chemiluminescent immunoassay (cLiA) technology. there was a significant decrease in the percentage of t regulatory cells (p < 0.006) in children with asthma compared to the control group. there were no significant differences in the other investigated immunological parameters. in addition, in asthma group statistically significant decreased of vitamin d concentration (p < 0.04) was observed. there were also no significant correlations between vitamin d3 concentration and the course of asthma or percentage of regulatory cells. the results confirmed the role of regulatory t cells in the pathogenesis of asthma. effects of vitamin d on the severity of the disease has not been proven.

To study whether this effect of Sandalore Ò is clinically relevant, we conducted a double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial involving 60 female volunteers affected by telogen effluvium. 30 patients were randomly assigned to a verum group applying once daily a solution containing 1% Sandalore Ò , and 30 patients were included in a placebo group that applied natural sandalwood oil, which has the same odor as Sandalore Ò but does not stimulate OR2AT4. The trial lasted 24 weeks. The read-out parameters were the degree of hair shedding, hair density, anagen/catagen-telogen ratio, hair mass index (hair volume), hair thickness, and patient selfassessment questionnaire. Sandalore Ò 1% reduced hair shedding, increased hair volume and increased the percentage of anagen HFs significantly more than placebo. Hair thickness and density were not affected. Most effects were seen after 8 weeks and maintained at week 24. Subjectively, individuals in the treatment group were "more satisfied" than in the placebo group regarding hair appearance and overall results. This clinical trial confirmed the anagenmaintaining effects of Sandalore Ò seen ex vivo and provides the first evidence that a cosmetic odorant can positively impact on human hair growth in vivo, encouraging the use of topical "olfactotherapy" with Sandalore Ò as adjunct therapy of hair disorders characterized by excessive hair shedding.
