The Winter Break Writing Binge is hosting a writing challenge from the middle of December to January. The goal: to write 50,000 words of a story, whether it's an entirely new one or picking up where you left off on a previous venture, in thirty days. 1,667 words a day.In a nutshell, it's an unofficial NaNoWriMo over winter break, and was created because some people are so flooded with things to do in November that NaNo becomes an impossibility. Anyone who's interested in participating is welcome to join, whether you've participated in such writing sprees before or not. It doesn't matter what you write - feel free to continue what you may have started in November, start fresh, or pick a story up that's been on the back burner for fifteen years and dust it off. Currently the community is pretty new and only just stretching its legs, but in the near future there will hopefully be resource links, plot help, widgets and whatever else could possibly be useful to anyone taking part. Introduction posts, questions and suggestions are all welcome so long as you follow the rules.
