Enterprises with good business performance are enterprises that are able to survive in fast-moving market. In order to achieve maximum business performance, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) need to have Entrepreneurial Orientation. This study aims to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation on business performance through Entrepreneurial Competency as a mediation variable among SMEs in culinary sector in Jakarta. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents who are owners of SME businesses in culinary sector in Jakarta. The sample selection technique used was purposive sampling and Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) software version 3.00 was used to make data analysis for this study. The results of this study indicate that innovation, risk taking and proactiveness (Entrepreneurial Orientation) have positive impact on business performance among SMEs in culinary sector in Jakarta.

The changed lifestyle of Ambon city residents influenced cafe business growth in Ambon. This research aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on strategic entrepreneurship used by cafes and their impact on competitive advantage. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using an accidental sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by distributing 50 questionnaires to the owners or managers of cafes in Ambon. From 50 questionnaires that have been distributed, only 41 questionnaires (82% response rate) cn be processed further using partial least square (PLS) method. This research found out that entrepreneurial orientation affects strategic entrepreneurship, strategic entrepreneurship affects competitive advantage, and entrepreneurial orientation affects competitive advantage through strategic entrepreneurship. Background:The purpose of this study was to explain the role of competitive advantage in mediating the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on the business performance of the silver handicraft industry in Celuk Village, Gianyar Regency. Research Methods: This research took place in Celuk Village, Gianyar Regency. The sample size in this study was as many as 90 silver handicraft businesses. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Result:Based on the results of the research that has been done, the following results are obtained: 1) Entrepreneurial orientation positively and significantly affects business performance. 2) Entrepreneurial orientation positively and significantly influences competitive advantage. 3) Competitive advantage positively and significantly affects business performance. 4) Competitive advantage positively and significantly mediates the role of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. Conclusion:Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that business actors in the silver handicraft industry in Celuk Village, Gianyar Regency can further develop entrepreneurial orientation and competitive advantage by creating products with new ideas and competitive prices in the market to be able to improve their company performance.
The Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation on SMEs Business Performance in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. Entrepreneurial orientation is measured through innovativeness, proactiveness, risk taking, and aggressiveness, while business performance is measured through the Balanced Scorecard perspective. The research method uses explanatory methods with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. Population is SMEs in the manufacturing industry sector in West Java, Indonesia measuring 203,181 with proportional random sampling technique obtained by sample 346 SMEs. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a Likert scale system, descriptive syllogism analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation in all dimensions (innovativeness, proactiveness, risk taking, and aggressiveness) tended to be low. Likewise with business performance (perspective: financial, customers, internal business processes, learning and growth) are at a level that tends to be low, which illustrates entrepreneurial orientation positively influences business performance. The implication of this research is that the lack of development of the desire of SMEs actors to seek business opportunities and become leaders in an increasingly dynamic business environment, if not allowed to hinder the growth of business performance, also weakens competitiveness so that SMEs products are not marketable. This finding implies, to improve business performance, SMEs players in running their businesses are always entrepreneurial oriented.
This study aims to examine the influence of Entrepreneurship Orientation, Information Technology, Strategic Planning, to Business Performance and Competitive Advantage of micro and small entrepreneurs of food processing industry in North Sulawesi. In the case of the existence of micro and small entrepreneurs in this area, especially the processed food processing industry being studied, micro and small entrepreneurs are expected to build their ability to compete more and give quality value to the product. The logic of the model to be built in this study refers to how the Orientation of Entrepreneurship is formed in micro and small entrepreneurs of the food processing industry. Addition of information technology variables, as well as strategic planning is to see the development of business performance and competitive advantage of the respondents studied. The population of this research is food processing industry in North Sulawesi. Respondents are the owners who directly manage the company with a sample size of 132 respondents. Data collection was done by survey respondents, with data analysis using AMOS. The results showed that the Orientation of Entrepreneurship (X1), Information Technology (X2), Strategic Planning (X3) influenced the positive direction on Business Performance (Y1) and Competitive Excellence (Y2) of micro and small food industry. The use of Information Technology in micro and small entrepreneurs has become a reference factor in marketing their products to the online market. Several managerial suggestions were also submitted on the findings of the research findings.

This study aims to see the effect of innovation mediation that connects market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management and organization learning on the performance of MSMEs in the city of North Bekasi. This study uses a quantitative. The unit of analysis in this study is the Culinary SMEs in North Bekasi. This research was conducted on 231 respondents spread across northern Bekasi and used the SmartPLS 3.3.3 statistical tools. The results of this study further emphasize that innovation can mediate the relationship between market orientation and performance. In addition, entrepreneurial orientation also affects performance mediated by innovation and knowledge management affects performance mediated by innovation but organizational learning has no effect on performance mediated by innovation in UMKM culinery in North Bekasi.

Entrepreneurial orientation is important factors needed by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to face environmental challenges in a dynamic and competitive business world achieve business performance. This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. The research sample of 117 culinary SMEs. Data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using structural equation modeling with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that of entrepreneurial orientation had a significant positive effect on business.

Purpose: The study aims to explain the role of business innovation strategies mediating the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of SMEs. Approach/Methodology/Design: The method of determining the sample used is purposive sampling, the culinary sector SMEs in Denpasar City. The conditions of intense competition make businesses threatened. As a result, the existence of the business becomes something that must be maintained. It is important that entrepreneurial orientation is owned by every business owner, and is forwarded to a learning orientation so that the performance of the business can be improved. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and learning orientation, and to determine the relationship between learning orientation and business performance. Meanwhile, the exogenous variables in this study are Entrepreneurship Orientation and Learning Orientation, and the endogenous variables are SME Performance. This study used research method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The collecting data is distributing questionnaires. This study uses a cross-sectional time horizon. The observation unit in this research is the owner of UKM Food in Padang City, while the sample in this research is 30 respondents. The results of the study found that entrepreneurial orientation had a significant effect on learning orientation, while learning orientation had no significant effect on business performance.
