On the existence of solutions of variational inequalities in Banach spaces
Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2004
In this paper, we study the existence of the solution of the variational inequality T x −ξ, y −x 0 by applying the generalized projection operator π K : B * → B, where B is a Banach space with dual space B * and by using the well-known FanKKM Theorem.

In this paper, some existence theorems for the mixed quasi-variational-like inequalities problem in a reflexive Banach space are established. The auxiliary principle technique is used to suggest a novel and innovative iterative algorithm for computing the approximate solution for the mixed quasi-variational-like inequalities problem. Consequently, not only the existence of theorems of the mixed quasi-variational-like inequalities is shown, but also the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is also proven. The results proved in this paper represent an improvement of previously known results.
Variational inequalities for perturbations of maximal monotone operators in reflexive Banach spaces
Tohoku Mathematical Journal, 2014
Let X be a real reflexive locally uniformly convex Banach space with locally uniformly convex dual space X * , and let K be a nonempty, closed and convex subset of X with 0 in its interior. Let T be maximal monotone and S a possibly unbounded pseudomonotone, or finitely continuous generalized pseudomonotone, or regular generalized pseudomonotone operator with domain K. Let φ be a proper, convex and lower semicontinuous function. New results are given concerning the solvability of perturbed variational inequalities involving the operator T +S and the function φ. The associated range results for nonlinear operators are also given, as well as extensions and/or improvements of known results of Kenmochi, Le, Browder, Browder and Hess, De Figueiredo, Zhou, and others.
A Class of Variational-Hemivariational Inequalities in Reflexive Banach Spaces
Journal of Elasticity, 2016
We study a new class of elliptic variational-hemivariational inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces. An inequality in the class is governed by a nonlinear operator, a convex set of constraints and two nondifferentiable functionals, among which at least one is convex. We deliver a result on existence and uniqueness of a solution to the inequality. Next, we show the continuous dependence of the solution on the data of the problem and we introduce a penalty method, for which we state and prove a convergence result. Finally, we consider a mathematical model which describes the equilibrium of an elastic body in unilateral contact with a foundation. The model leads to a variational-hemivariational inequality for the displacement field, that we analyse by using our abstract results.
Pre-variational Inequalities in Banach Spaces1
In this paper, we study the existence of solution of pre-variational inequality in the setting of reflexive Banach spaces. We see that the existence theorems of Yang and Chen (Ref.6) are also hold good in the setting of reflexive Banach spaces with some less assumptions.

In this work, we will establish some relations between variational-like inequality problems and vectorial optimization problems in Banach spaces under invexity hypotheses. This paper extends the earlier work of Ruiz-Garzón et al. [G. Ruiz-Garzón, R. Osuna-Gómez, A. Rufián-Lizana, Relationships between vector variational-like inequality and optimization problems, European J. Oper. Res. 157 (2004) 113-119].
An existence principle for variational inequalities in Banach spaces
Revista de la Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales. Serie A. Matemáticas, 2019
The present article deals with existence and uniqueness results for a variational inequality posed on a real smooth Banach space. This allows us to generalize the known results of this type given in Hilbert spaces.

On systems of generalized nonlinear variational inequalities in Banach spaces
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2008
In this paper, we introduce a new algorithm for a system for generalized nonlinear variational inequalities in Banach spaces by using convergence of the generalized projection methods. Our results extend and improve the results of Fan [J.H. Fan, A Mann type iterative scheme for variational inequalities in noncompact subsets of Banach spaces,
