Dance can be conceptualized as human behavior composed of purposeful, intentionally rhythmical, and culturally influenced sequences of nonverbal body movements. This study aims to develop a Malay Culturebased dance learning model to enhance early childhood students' creativity. Method of 3D-1I development model (Define, Design, Development and Implementation) of research methods has been utilized to develop Malay Culture-based dance learning model. The number of respondent involved in this study 8 early childhood students of Early Childhood Laboratories School Unversitas Riau. The data was collected by instrument test that developed Ennis's framework and adapted in dance creativity. The result indicated that fluency creativity indicator with make various kinds of limb poses classification got high score improvement, 16-point score. It can be concluded Malay Culture-based dance learning model effectively to enhance early childhood students' creative.

This evaluation instrument is an instrument that emphasizes multiple intelligences that are used to assess the process and results of dance learning. This study aims to develop and find out the quality of evaluation instruments for dance learning outcomes based on multiple intelligences in elementary school students. This research is a type of Research and Development (RnD) development research using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development models. This research was tested on the fourth grade teachers of a private Islamic elementary school in Bantul City. In Indian schools, Dance is taught as an art form and much as a recreation to students. Aim : The main purpose of this research paper is to highlight the literature that states the benefits of using dance as a pedagogy to teach children in schools. The paper also aims to understand the benefits dance that can be used as an experiential learning among the age group of 5 to 10 years in mainstream CBSE schools in India. Methodology: Many databases were searched including the key words and it was concluded that creative dance as a pedagogy can be used as an experiential learning at schools. Results: The advantages of creative dance in cognition, physical, socio emotional aspects can be observed. Development of creative dance as experiential learning with right assessment parameters can be effective in carrying out the implementation of the curriculum.
Development of Zapin's Creative Dance to Improve Children's Kinesthetic Intelligence Aged 5-6 Years

The purpose of this study was to develop dance-based learning media created by Zapin to improve the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. Efforts to build kinesthetic intelligence need to be carried out from an early age by providing stimulus through the five senses they have, bearing in mind that early childhood is an age group in a unique development process because it occurs simultaneously with the golden age. Kinesthetic intelligence plays an important role in the mind and body to be able to manipulate objects and create movements. Creative dance is a Western-based dance pedagogy that aims to provide participants with a creative and artistic dance experience. In the National Preschool Curriculum Standard of Preschool Education 2017, the Ministry of Education Malaysia listed creative movement as a teaching method for enhancing the creativity of preschool children. However, the literature shows that Asian educators encounter problems and challenges when adopting a Westernbased pedagogy due to the differences in social-cultural context. This paper intends to study these problems and challenges in the context of creative dance in Malaysian preschools, based on expert perspectives. The study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with four local experts from the field of creative dance in preschool. The study found six problems and challenges, which were misconceptions, a lack of teaching resources, resistance to change, negative attitudes, a lack of ability and creativity in giving instructions, and environment and education system. These problems and challenges were caused by two social-cultural factors, which were (1) educational beliefs with different values than creative dance and (2) a learning environment that discourages creative behaviour. The study highlights that there is an urgency to develop a creative dance teacher training module and it must take these factors into account.

This study discusses literacy-based creative dance to improve student creativity. Through the creation of dance with stimulus literacy can increase student creativity both in terms of cognition, affective aspects and psychomotor aspects, in a balanced and intact manner. Determination of literacy was chosen as a stimulus in creation including: 1. Because various themes are embodied and 2. Material is easily obtained through hard copy or soft copy. The concept of literacy is used by giving stimulus to students by reading and being implemented in the form of motion. The purpose of this study is to improve the skills and creativity of students in learning dance creation by using stimulus literacy. This research method uses qualitative research with the approach action research. Data collection in this study through observation, interviews, and literature review. The research targets are Junior High school number 2 Katapang. The results of research conducted for one semester have been able to increase students' creativity in creating dance with stimulus literacy.

The Influence of the Dance Creativity on Executive Functions of Early Childhood

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of dance creativity on executive functions of early childhood. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with paired data t-test analysis. This study was conducted on 50 respondents aged 5-6 years. The results showed that t hit > t table, sig <0.01 there was a significant difference between before and after the dance creativity activities implemented. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that dance creativity can significantly influence the executive function of early childhood. Further research can be carried out by involving other variables that affect executive functions along with other dance creativity activities.
