PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN BAHAN AJAR MATEMATIKA BERSUPLEMEN KOMIK TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA

Mathematics is a lesson that many students do not like, so to change it all required interactive teaching materials that can foster student self-reliance. The purpose of this research is to know whether there is influence of response of the use of mathematics material supplement comic to student self-reliance. The subjects used in this study are the students of class VIII at MTs Islmic Center. The method used in this research is descriptive statistical method with research design The One-Shot Case Study Design. Response of class B comic usage is in good category with get percentage equal to 69,90% and response of class C using comic in good category with get percentage equal to 72,32%. The independence of class A is in the high category to obtain a percentage of 52.22%, the independence of studyi class B is in the high category that obtained a percentage of 65.37%, and the independence of class C study is in the high category obtaining the procession 66.07 %. The result of hypothesis obtained Fcount = 17,198 and Ftable = 3,14 based on Ha hypothesis criteria.

This study aims to describe the ability of mathematical creative thinking of students of class IX on the material of the circle. The method used a descriptive research method. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The subject is a student of class IX MTs in Bandung as many as 32 students. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi segitiga dan jajargenjang yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang bentuk-bentuk bangun datar segitiga dan jajargenjang sehingga ketika guru memberikan soal dengan bentuk bangun datar yang berbeda dari yang diajarkan guru, siswa mengalami kesulitan untuk mengerjakannya. Oleh sebab itu digunakan pembelajaran dengan Matematika GASING (Gampang, ASyIk, dan menyenaNGkan). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah diajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran Matematika GASING. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD NEGERI RUMPAKSINANG dengan sampel kelas IV sebanyak 31 orang pada november 2015. Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian pre-experimental design dengan desain one group pretest-postest. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman siswa setelah belajar dengan pembelajaran Matematika GASING. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,3813 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Therefore the use of learning with math GASING (easy, fun, and enjoyable). The purpose of research is to know the size of the average N-gain in the ability of students mathematical understanding once taught using learning math GASING. This research was conducted in SDN RUMPAKSINANG with grade IV samples of 31 people in November 2015. The method used in this research is the type pre-experimental design with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The results showed from this research that there is an increased ability to learn the students' understanding after learning of Mathematics GASING. The increase was seen from the average N-gain of 0.3813 which is included in the medium category.

Masalah yang peneliti temukan adalah kurangnya sumber belajar yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran matematika sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dalam pemilihan sumber belajar, guru hanya menggunakan buku teks yang dibuat sendiri dan buku paket yang sudah jadi. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut perlu sumber belajar yang bisa digunakan oleh siswa dan guru yaitu modul. Modul merupakan salah satu bentuk unit lengkap yang berdiri sendiri dari rangkaian kegiatan belajar yang disusun untuk membantu peserta didik mencapai sejumlah tujuan yang dirumuskan secara khusus dan jelas. Dalam modul, siswa akan mendapatkan materi, ringkasan, dan tugas yang berkaitan dengan materi. PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIS PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR SD NEGERI 2 SUMBER AGUNG MELALUI PENDEKATAN

Abstrak. Kemampuan belajar siswa sekolah dasar cenderung terhambat, salah satunya mengalami kesulitan berhitung sehingga prestasi belajar matematikanya tidak maksimal. Metode jarimatika dapat dijadikan sebagai metode alternatif untuk belajar berhitung bagi siswa sekolah dasar karena memanfaatkan media jari tangan (indera peraba/ taktil) dalam aplikasinya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh metode jarimatika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa SD Negeri 2 Sumber Agung Kota Serang. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 38 siswa tunanetra sekolah dasar SD Negeri 2 Sumber Agung Kota Serang yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kelompok eksperimen. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa proses pembelajaran operasi hitung bilangan matematika menggunakan metode jarimatika dalam 4 kali pertemuan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen kuasi Onegroup Pretest-Posttest Design dengan alat ukur berupa soal tes prestasi belajar matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari metode jarimatika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa tunanetra sekolah dasar SD Negeri 2 Sumber Agung Kota Serang. The learning ability of primary school students tend to be stunted, one of whom had trouble counting to learn math achievement was not optimal. Jarimatika method can be used as an alternative method for learning math for elementary school students for use of the media fingers (tactile / tactile) in their applications. The research objective was to determine the effect of the method Jarimatika on mathematics achievement in students of SD Negeri 2 Great Source of Serang. Subjects consisted of 38 blind students of elementary school SD Negeri 2 Great Source Serang entirely included in the experimental group. The treatment is given in the form of learning math numbers arithmetic operations using Jarimatika in 4 meetings. This research method using quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design Onegroup measuring devices such as mathematics achievement test questions. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the method Jarimatika the mathematics achievement of primary school students with visual impairment SD Negeri 2 Great Source of Serang.

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATEMATIKA LEVEL IGCSE BERBASIS TUGAS TERSTRUKTUR BAGI MAHASISWA CALON GURU MATEMATIKA

This research is motivated by the lack of availability of English language teaching materials especially mathematics at IGCSE level for student of mathematics education. In accordance with the demands of globalization in which candidates of mathmust be prepared to teach in any schoolwhether using the national curriculum, as well as international. Thus the english ability of the student teachers in math really need to be improved. This is the reason that need for the developtment of teaching materials IGCSE level mathematics. This research is a development that will generate structured task-based teaching materials. The research method using the method of development that includes (1) Concept, at this stage the developer identify issues related to the study of mathematics by English language and make the plan of teaching materials as clear as possible in accordance with such problems; (2) Design, at this stage, developers package the teaching materials as clear as possible in accordance with the characteristics of student; (3) Collecting of materials, at this stage the developer prepare the materials in accordance with the mathematical material IGCSE level; (4) assembly and texting, at this stage the developer design intructional materials accodance with material that has been prepared, thereafter conducted trials the experts. The result from the expert trial show that teaching materials developed included into the category of a very good and fit for use for back up sources lectures.

PROFIL KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII MTs PADA MATERI LINGKARAN

Low problem solving ability will give students a problem. These problems are part of the background of this research. The purpose in this study was to give description about the problem-solving profile in class VIII students on circle material which is based on the differences in mathematical abilities in terms of the Polya stage. Four (4) grade VIII students of MTs N 3 Banjarnegara were the chosen targeted subjects in this research, each of which consisted of students with different categories which are high and medium to low cabilities. The instrument in this study was the researcher, who received assistance using interviews and also some questions on a test for solving a problem in the field of mathematics. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR FISIKA SMA/MA MATERI FLUIDA BERORIENTASI IMTAQ

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku ajar fisika SMA/MA materi fluida berorientasi IMTAQ ditinjau dari kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan dan penyajian menurut Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan serta kelayakan IMTAQ. Pengembangan buku fisika yang berorientasi IMTAQ ini menggunakan 3 tahap dari 4 tahap yang ada dalam model 4-D (four-D models) menurut Thiagarajan, Semmel, dan Semmel (1974), yaitu: define (pendefinisian), design (perencangan), dan develop (pengembangan). Model 4-D digunakan dengan penyesuaian yang dianggap perlu. Dalam penelitian ini hanya terbatas sampai pada tahap develop. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan angket. Lembar validasi digunakan untuk menvalidasi buku ajar yang dikembangkan, lembar validasi ini diberikan kepada ahli yang terdiri dari tokoh agama, dosen fisika, dan guru fisika. Sedangkan lembar angket diberikan kepada siswa pada saat uji coba terbatas, angket ini digunakan untuk mengetahui respon siswa tentang buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Lembar angket diberikan kepada 15 siswa SMA 8 Negeri Surabaya dan 15 siswa MA Kanjeng Sepuh. Data yang peroleh diolah berdasarkan skala likert didapatkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan layak dan memenuhi kriteria menurut BSNP, dari validasi tim ahli diperoleh komponen isi 83,04%, komponen kebahasaan 85% dan komponen penyajian 91% serta komponen tambahan yaitu komponen IMTAQ 89,37%. Sedangkan respon siswa terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan adalah positif, diperoleh dengan hasil memenuhi kreteria komponen materi 83,33%, komponen kebahasaan 76,67%, komponen penyajian 77,22%, dan komponen IMTAQ 97,78%.
