India is an agricultural country. In which 65% people are farmers. As, the population of india is increased, the demand of food is also increasing. In these circumstances, we need a fast cutting process instead of traditional cutting methods. In the past, agricultural activities were carried out with manual force. But today in most of our country there is a shortage of manpower; therefore labor is not available when required. So the labour cost for cutting of sugarcanes seed, groundnut and straw cutting only skilled labours are required. To minimize the labour cost and to get work done in minimum, time at cheap cost this machine is designed. It is simple in construction. It does not need skilled labour

As agriculture is one of the main occupations in India, it is very essential to discover and implement new ideas in this field, although a lot of work has been done in this area. It is a pity that these ideas are not properly implemented in the real field. This is due to the high cost and difficult for the rural population. Multipurpose agricultural cutting equipment is the basic and main equipment involved in agriculture for maximum performance. The conventional method of planting and growing crops is a laborious process, and therefore there is a shortage of manpower, resulting in a delay in agriculture to overcome these difficulties. Multipurpose agricultural equipment is designed. Agriculture plays a vital role in the Indian economy. Over 70% of rural households depend on agriculture. Agriculture is an important sector of the Indian economy, contributing approximately 8.4% to the total GDP and providing employment for over 60% of the population. Indian agriculture has experienced impressive growth over the past few decades.

Crop cutting machine is mechanical device. It can be use for cutting the dry cut branch of grain break or covering of trunk of tree. In the crop cutting machine required less human effort and it very reasonable for middle class farmer it is not complicated structure and it easily operated by unskilled person. It can reduce labour cost due to the only one person can handle. Crop cutter machine does not required high life support. This machine targets the small-scale farmers who have land area of smaller than 2or3 acres. This mechanism is compact and can cut up to two rows of wheat, millet, jowar crops. It has cutting blades which cut the crop in a scissoring type of movement. It runs on petrol engine, this power from engine, is provided through shaft, pulley and belt drive system to the cutting blades. This compact crop cutter is manufactured using locally available spare parts and thus, it is easily maintainable. This crop cutter might be the solution to the problems faced by a small-scale farmer regarding cost and worker implementation.

Design and Fabrication of Crop Cutting and Collecting Machine

Generally in India large scale as well as small scale farmers facing the problems of labor shortage for crop cutting as well as collecting it. It takes the extra efforts and becomes more expensive. So there is a scope of forming a machine of such kind which is having average cost and able to minimize required time as well as labor cost meanwhile the available machines in the market are expensive. As this machine providing both cutting and collecting facility, it will be helpful to minimize labor charges.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF CROP CUTTER

This title presents the concept for design and analysis of crop cutter. The crop cutting is important stage in agriculture field. Currently in India former used conventional method for the crop cutting i.e. the conventional method for crop cutting is as manually cutting using labour but this method is lengthy and time consuming.This project aim is to design and analysis of small field crop cutter machine for small height crop. To analysis cutting rollerand horizontal cutting blade by using Pro-eand anises software. The machine consists of petrol engine to operate cutting roller and blade. When compare to manual crop cutting by and this machine has a capacity to cut the crop in faster. This machine to helpful for both the small as well as big farm.

Multi Crop Cutter: A Review

Today, agriculture especially in India need to concentrate in some situation such as how to increase the productivity and profit, how to reduce the cost and labor efforts. To overcome these, a new manually operated cutter is fabricated specially for cutting various crop varieties and named as an "MULTI CROP CUTTER". It is easy to fabricate, low cost and light weight. With this Multi Crop Cutter, the entire problem can be solved easily. There are some steps involved in fabricating this machine such as fabricating the small model using suitable material and test the functioning of this machine. So the aim is to fabricate and test the performance of the small model of a manually operated crop cutter for cutting the crop. Time require for cutting crop is main importance. During cutting of crop season, often rains and storm cause considerable damage of standing crops. Rapid cutting of crop gives more time for preparation of land for next crop planting. The use of machines can help for cutting at proper stage of crop maturity and reduce operation time. Considering these improved cutting tools equipment, combine being accepted by the farmer.

In Indian Agriculture, Generally tractors or cultivator machines are commonly used for ploughing. Before this method farmers uses the traditional method this is time consuming and hardworking and costly. So we are introducing a new machine. This Machine useful for agriculture in India is of a much larger level. All machine high price and useful for agriculture but not affordable to farmers. So we have created a new machine with this problem in mind to increase the maximum weed removal capacity of the tiller blade in the new design. We have added some extra parts to this machine to help improve the maximum weed removal efficiency. First removing parts are three long tiller blades for tilling operation for Creates favorable environment for crop growth and the second part is cutter attachment for crop and grass cutting. This machine performs both tilling and crop cutting operations.

This project is done on the design of barely reaper machine.Reaper machine is a harvesting tool which cut crop and windrow it on the field. The main components of reaper are header, power source and transmission and frame. The header consists of cutter and conveyor mechanism. The cutting mechanism is reciprocating type; in which one movable cutter bar reciprocates over a counter shear fixed cutter bar, which form scissor like cutting action. The crop gathered by the star wheel, and the cut crop can be conveyed to one side through lugged conveyor belt. Cutting width of the reaper is 1000 mm, conveying speed 0.85 m/s and forward speed of 0.8 m/s (driven by man). The power source of the reaper is water pump motor having 5 hp and 3600 RPM, which is used to drive cutter and conveyor mechanism additionally for pumping water. The power reaches to the required place through one stage reduction gear box having a speed reduction of 8:1 The slider crank mechanism converts rotary motion to reciprocating motion for the cutter bar and cross belt change axis of rotation from horizontal to vertical for the conveyor.
