A Study on Factors Affecting University Students' Perception Towards Online Learning Post COVID-19

COVID-19 has turned the world upside down and transformed the learning experience of the students through online learning. This study presents a comprehensive exploration of the various factors which influence the students' perceptions of their learning experience in the context of online learning. This research integrates the students' perspective such as their personal satisfaction, classroom interaction, learning preferences and factors such emotional, psychological, physical that affects the efficacy of online learning experience. A mixed methods approach was used to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. The study explored factors influencing students' perspectives towards their learning experiences with a focus on their personal satisfaction, classroom interaction, learning preferences and the impact on academic performance. A total of 209 participants from various universities took part in this research study. The findings contribute to both theoretical understanding and practical implementation of online learning strategies, essential for both learners and instructors alike. This study also offers insights on potential factors faced by university students during online classes such as adaptability to new formats of learning, motivation, classroom interaction, and access to learning resources that seemed to serve as some of the leading factors identified that affects students' overall learning satisfaction. As online learning revolutionized the way students learn and became an integral part of the education process at all levels, his study provides an evaluation on the benefits and the drawbacks of utilizing online learning as well as the effects on students' learning preferences as well as academic performances.

Students’ Readiness and Perception on the Effectiveness of Online Education Post Covid-19 Pandemic

This research reveals students' readiness and perceptions of online learning post the COVID-19 pandemic. Online learning has gained significant popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic. This learning method offers flexibility and convenience for students, however now that learning in higher education institutions has returned to normal, how students' perceptions of online learning are fully debated in this study. Three hundred and eight students from local universities in Indonesia took part in a quantitative study to explore the satisfaction and effectiveness of online learning. The COVID-19 pandemic has impinged on the people irrespective of their nationality, age, income or gender. It has hit almost all the sectors of the economy including education. The pandemic of Coronavirus has influenced all levels of education in the whole world. This impact forces the Ministry of Education to switch from traditional education to online education. As a result, educators must run this policy to teach the classroom and students must adapt to this situation. Online learning has been chosen to be applied in all tertiary institutions in Indonesia; this also applies to IAIN Takengon. Student perception is one of the determinants of the success of the learning that is carried out. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how students' perceptions of online learning have been implemented and the factors that influence these perceptions. The research method used is an online survey using google form. The results showed that students' perceptions of online learning were not very good; this was caused by several factors, such as poor internet access, burdensome internet quota, difficulty communicating with lecturers, so students were not ready to use applications when online learning was carried out. There needs to be much improvement in the online learning system implemented; this indicates that universities are not ready to carry out online lectures.

Students perception regarding online learning during the covid-19 pandemic

With the abrupt change across the globe spurred on by the novel coronavirus, online learning has emerged as a potential alternative for the worldwide education sector. Prior to COVID-19, amidst the surge in popularity of online learning with the advent of the internet and technological advances, students preferred conventional face-to-face learning over online learning. The objective of this research was to see how students perceived online learning during the COVID-19 epidemic. Out of the 105 responses obtained through an online survey, we were able to establish a significant association between demographical characteristics with the factors of student perception with the use of Chi-Square analysis. We used Correlation and Regression analysis to see how the independent factors of Online experience, interaction, learning design, tools and technology, social presence, and attitude related to the dependent variable of Student Perception. The findings revealed that interaction was highly correlated with students' perceptions and that it was also the most essential element among the others.

Perceptions of University Students Towards Online Teaching-Learning Process During COVID-19 Pandemic

The present research was intended to explore the perceptions of University students towards Online Teaching-Learning Process, Online Assessment its Effectiveness and problems during COVID-19 Pandemic. Quantitative research with a descriptive survey method was employed to meet the desired objectives of the study. The purposive sampling technique was used to select the 205 students studying at University level. A self-constructed questionnaire, in Google Form, to ascertain students’ perception towards the online teaching-learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic was used for data collection. "The Covid-19 outbreak forced educational institutions to shift from face-to-face to online teaching-learning in a very short time. The students and teachers had to learn by doing and to adapt quickly. Therefore, the focus of this study was to examine the main determinants of students’ perceived learning experience and satisfaction with the online classes. The data was gathered from bachelors’ students. The quantitative approach was implemented to analyse the subject. The findings show positive influence of faculty support, course design and students’ involvement on the students’ perceived learning experience through the e-learning platform and online classes. The student satisfaction with online teaching-learning is predicted by the perceived learning experience through the e-learning platform and online classes. Students' Perception on Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic

This paper focuses on students’ perception of the effectiveness of online vs onsite learning within two faculties (Arts and Science) of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the results of this study are compared to those of similar studies conducted in several other countries. The research problem addressed in this study is: What is the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and policy support on undergraduates’ perception of online teaching and learning? The primary data for the study was collected using a structured questionnaire. The objective of the questionnaire was to measure the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and policy support on undergraduates’ perception of online teaching and learning. A questionnaire was made available through an online platform to two hundred undergraduates of the two faculties, Arts and Science, of the University of Colombo, and the one hundred eighty (180) responses received were analysed using SPSS. The neutrality of the impact of ICT knowledge, digital infrastructure, classroom environment, and the policy framework on the participants’ perception of the online teaching/learning process can be interpreted as the non-existence of a significant difference between online and onsite classes. However, the additional comments provided by the same respondents at the end of the questionnaire indicate opinions contradictory to the above finding.

Undergraduate students' perception and satisfaction regarding online learning system amidst COVID-19 Pandemic in Pakistan

Background During COVID-19 pandemic, to forestall the outspread of contagion, all academic activities where physical presence was mandatory were halted.
