Job satisfaction is defined by the feelings that you have experienced as a result of realizing that your job and achievements allow you to overlap or overlap with the personal value judgments with your needs. Genel olarak iş doyumu, bireylerin işlerinin veya tecrübelerinin takdir edilmesinin sonucunda verimliliklerinin, üretkenliklerinin ve yaptıkları işin kalitesinin artması olarak ifade edilebilir. Çalışanın, mutlu ve olumlu ruh hali, işten duyduğu haz, işinden beklentisi ve elde ettiği ödüller, işine karşı duygusal tepkileri vb. etkenler iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörler olarak ele alınmaktadır. Çalışanın yaptığı işle ilgili beklentilerinin farklılıklar gösterebileceği ancak ihtiyaçlarının karşılanma derecesindeki yükselişin iş doyumunu arttıracağı beklenmektedir. Bireyler açısından iş doyumunun önemi, öncelikle bireylerin kişisel yetilerini ortaya koymak ve gerçekleştirmek istemelerinden ortaya çıkmaktadır. Düşük iş doyumu mORAL bozukluğuna, işten soğumaya, düşük verimliliğe ve sağlıksız bir topluma yol açar. İş doyumu yöneticiler için çalışanların işlerine karşı tutumlarının performans ve verimlilik üzerindeki etkisi açısından önemlidir. Çünkü iş doyumsuzluğunun doğrudan neden olduğu davranışlar; işten ayrılma, devamsızlık, performans düşüklüğü, ruhsal ve fiziksel sağlıkta bozulma şeklinde kendisini göstermektedir. Araştırma, Güney Ege Marmaris Aşçılar Derneği’ne üye olan çalışanların iş doyum düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Derneğe üye olan ve aktif olarak sektörde çalışan 70 üye üzerinden araştırma yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak, amaçlı örnekleme yaklaşımı benimsenmiştir. Araştırma verileri SPSS-20 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada tanımlayıcı istatistik ve parametrik olmayan hipotez testlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Çalışanların dış doyumlarının iç ve genel doyum düzeylerine göre daha yüksek çıktığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

Kamu Çalışanlarının İş Doyum / Tatmin Düzeyi: Spor Genel Müdürlüğü ve Spor Federasyonları Örneği Job Satisfaction Level of Government Employees: The General Directorate of Sport and Sports Federations Sample

The purpose of this study is to determine the job satisfaction levels of employees of sports federation and general directorate of sport, and to analyze according to some variables. “Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire” was used to determine the job satisfaction levels of employees. Since the data didn’t fulfill the parametric assumptions, nonparametric Kruskall-Wallis and Man-Whitney U tests were used on the analysis according to job satisfaction levels. According to results of analysis, 98.8% of employees’ job satisfaction levels are medium and high. It was revealed that there is a statistically significant difference between employees’ general job satisfaction, internal and external sub-dimension points according to age groups, marital status, situation of selecting their jobs willingly and educational level. As a result; it was seen in terms of general job satisfaction and internal satisfaction that internal satisfaction levels of employees who are 40 or more in comparison with employees who are between 22-40 age groups, internal satisfaction levels of employees whose marital status are married in comparison with employees whose marital status are single, general satisfaction and internal satisfaction levels of employees who selected their job willingly and general, internal and external satisfaction levels of employees whose education levels are associate degree in comparison with employees whose education levels are bachelor’s degree and postgraduate are higher. Today's people have many roles in life. In general, a person who is satisfied with his life can be said to have life satisfaction. It is difficult for the individual to distinguish between life satisfaction and job satisfaction. One variable affects another variable. Employees whose expectations are realized in life will also be happy in their work. Similarly, life satisfaction of employees who are satisfied with their job is expected to increase. There are many studies that reveal this relationship. Manager support can affect job satisfaction as it is part of business life and important to the employee. It is in studies that measure this. In this study, our goal is to investigate whether perceived manager support plays a role as a means of life satisfaction in the impact of job satisfaction. For this purpose, questions were asked to the hotel employees in Konya center by survey technique. The data obtained were analyzed through SPSS and AMOS programs and the results obtained were interpreted. As a result of the research it was found that manager support positively affects job and life satisfaction, life satisfaction positively affects job satisfaction and life satisfaction is partially mediated in the effect of manager support on job satisfaction.

In this study, a "Job Satisfaction Scale" has been developed to determine the characteristics of job satisfaction in businesses/institutions operating in all sectors and to measure job satisfaction using a reliable and valid measurement tool based on scientific methods. The research was conducted using data obtained from three different sample groups: health, banking/finance sector, and universities. A draft scale consisting of 17 items prepared in a 5-point Likert scale format was used as the data collection tool by the study group. The collected data were analyzed using statistical software programs. Confirmatory and exploratory factor analyses (CFA and EFA) were conducted for validity and reliability studies. According to the analysis findings, the "Job Satisfaction Scale" consists of two sub-dimensions and 13 statements. Additionally, reliability analyses indicate that the scale is highly reliable. It is believed that the "Job Satisfaction Scale," with its two-dimensional structure named "Internal Satisfaction" and "External Satisfaction," will meet an important need in determining and measuring employees' job satisfaction in future research, thus filling this gap in the field. The scale items are presented in both English and Turkish at the end of the study.

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of education level on the job satisfaction. The relationships between the educational level and job satisfaction were tested with hypotheses; H0: There isn't a relationship between education level and job satisfaction. H1: There is a relationship between education level and job satisfaction. To measure job satisfaction, a questionnaire comprising a slightly modified form of a popular job satisfaction questionnaire was used. The study was conducted on a total of 600 workers, working in 30 four and five stars hotels. All of the questionnaires were picked up because the questionnaires were administered individually by the students of tourism department. 69 percent of the responses were taken from graduated and vocational school students of higher education, 31percent from primary and secondary schools. The data used in this research is the primary data obtained directly from the results of a questionnaire distribution by the respondent. The population of this research is the employees of the PDAM Tirtanadi of North Sumatera province Berastagi branch. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique, which is to take the whole of the total population of 38 people. The data analysis used is double linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially the work itself, the supervisor, the co-workers and the promotion as free variables had no significant effect on job satisfaction, while the salary/wage was partially influential positively and significantly towards job satisfaction. The tourism sector is especially based on the human force and high satisfaction of employees of in this sector can increase the performance and competitiveness of the companies. The aim of the current study is to investigate job satifaction of employees. The study is designed to conduct an empirical research, and will utilize from survey techniques to collect data. Employees in accommodation businesses in Alanya constitute the population of the study. Sampling was aimed at the 95% confidence level and 5% confidence interval. The size of the sample selected to conduct the survey is composed of a total of 419 employees. The data to be collected in this study was be analyzed using SPSS. It is expected that the findings of this study will contribute to the relevant literature and provide useful information for the practitioners in the field. INTRODUCTION Each day human force is getting more important. Therefore, businesses must determine the factors that affecting the job satisfaction for employees and try to find out the ways to improve it.
