IOT Service Utilisation in Healthcare
Utilising the new trend technologies in healthcare sector could offer alternative ways in managing the patients' health records and also improve the healthcare quality. As such, this chapter provides an overview of utilising the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in healthcare sector as an emerging research and practical trend nowadays. The main benefits and advantages have been discussed in this chapter. On the other hand, it has been found that most of the hospitals in different countries are still facing many issues regarding their health information exchange. Recently, various studies in the area of healthcare information system mentioned that the fragmentations of the health information are one of the most important challenges with the distribution of patient information records. Therefore, in this chapter, we gave an in detail overview regarding the current issues facing the health sector in line with the IoT technologies. Additionally, a full description of advantages and disadvantages has been highlighted for using IoT in healthcare that can be considered as solutions for the mentioned issues.
An Overview of IoT and Healthcare
This paper is an overview of some of the implications of IoT on the healthcare field. Due to the increasing of IoT solutions, healthcare cannot be outside of this paradigm. The contribution of this paper is to introduce directions to achieve a global connectivity between the Internet of Things (IoT) and the medical environments. The need to integrate all in a global environment is a huge challenge to all (from electrical engineers to data engineers). This revolution is redesigning the way we see healthcare, from the smallest sensor to the big data collected.

APPLICATIONS, CONCERNS AND CHALLENGES OF THE INTERNET OF THINGS IN HEALTHCARE
The Internet of Things (IoT) has a variety of potential applications in the field of medicine, some of which include assisting patients in retaining their independence, enhancing their health, and taking responsibility for their own medical treatment. The Internet of Things (IoT) purpose healthcare is also to increase patient-provider conversation and participation, as well as to offer patients a bigger role in the decisions that are made about their treatment. The Internet of Things (IoT) has far-reaching effects due to the intricate interweaving it has with traditional systems, gadgets, the cloud, mobile apps, internet applications, and management systems. The phrase "the Internet of Things" is used to refer to the connected devices that are capable of communicating with each other, either one-way or in both directions, and can carry out the instructions that are given to them. A great number of applications that are used in the real world largely depend on the Internet of Things. These applications include ones for "smart health," "smart cities," "smart homes," "smart transit," and "smart traffic control." This article addresses some of the new concerns about security, privacy, and identification that have arisen as a result of the exponential growth in the number of devices that are connected to a network via the Internet of Things (IoT). Applications of IoT in Healthcare
International journal of engineering sciences, 2022
One of the essential functions in the survival of human beings is healthcare. The fraction of total of doctors to inhabitants in established countries is around 1:40, establishing countries 1:1000, however in under-established countries is 0.6 per 1000 inhabitants according to a lot of reviews. IoT is enormously identified as a probable prospect in case of smart healthcare system. A smart manner for decreasing pressure on infrastructure of hospital is monitoring health remotely. This can supervise patients who are non-critical at their home instead of hospitals and healthcare centers. It decreases the pressure on resources of healthcare like doctors and beds for patients. The advantages of remote health monitoring are to give more appropriate medical facility to the people of semi-urban and rural areas and the elderly citizens. But, the ultimatum of the remote healthcare monitoring is the threat of data protection as the sensitive data is stored in a single database, individual sensors adaptation for verifying their correct supervision, correct connectivity link among the patients and the hospital and the device power capability problems. Providentially, these problems are mostly resolvable because of the betterment in the techniques of technology and encryption. Thus, remote health supervision on the basis of IoT have favorable characteristics which can obtain answers to these problems of the system of healthcare. IoT healthcare systems are established for some of the medical context like management of diabetes, rehabilitation, assisted ambient living (AAL) for elderly persons and others. The main aim of this topic is to explain the working of various applications of monitoring of health and types of healthcare sensing elements utilized on IoT healthcare.
