Daniel Goleman's social intelligence is one of Western psychology, which is certainly different from Islamic psychology. The main foundation of Islamic psychology is the Qur‟an and the Hadith, which is different with western psychology which based on phenomelogy, so that the scope of western psychology only to the physical-biology, psychological dimensions and socioculture. From the analysis of several verses of the Qur‟an, there are several indicators wrapped in two dimensions namely; feelings (1. Positif Thingking, 2. Affection, and 3. Sincere) and actions (1. Helping and 2. Gratitude). The five indicators as well as social intelligence developed by Goleman have a two-dimensional relationship between feelings (invisible) with actions which will be taken after having these feelings. As an example of the sincere indicator. Sincerity is an intention that cannot be expressed verbally, because its only Allah and the person who knows about the sincerity.

Social skills are skills needed by every student. By having good social skills, students can also establish good relationships with the environment and peers. This study aims to describe the social skills of SMP Negeri 5 Lembang students who are in the adolescent phase, seen from the indicators of social skills of verbal responses, non-verbal responses and cognitive processes based on gender and class. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. In this study, data were collected using a Likert scale social skills questionnaire based on the theory proposed by Michelson. The samples in this study were students of SMP Negeri 5 Lembang in grades VII, VII, and XI. The results showed that students' social skills based on verbal, non-verbal responses and cognitive processes seen from gender and class were in the moderate category, it was seen from verbal responses, positive or negative expressions and thoughts of students that could determine whether or not ...

Social studies education must accommodate 21st century learning so that social studies learning becomes more meaningful and meaningful in the midst of advances in information and communication technology. This study aims to describe and analyze the relevance of social studies learning to life skills in the 21st century. The research findings reveal that the relevance of social studies learning to 21st century skills is already evident in the basic competencies to be achieved. However, if social studies learning is presented conventionally, social studies learning will lose its meaning. Therefore, social studies learning must apply learning designs that condition students to think critically, creatively, communicate, and collaborate, including project based learning, problem based learning and cooperative learning.

Kegiatan apa sajakah yang biasanya anda kerjakan setiap harinya ? mandi, mencuci pakaian, belajar, membantu orang tua, tidur, menerima tamu, menghormati orang tua, atau mengerjakan berbagai kegiatan rutin lainnya yang biasanya dikerjakan oleh seorang anak sembagaimana anda ? didalam suatu keluarga, selain terdapat sejumlah tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh seorang anak, terdapat pula sekumpulan tugas-tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh anggota keluarga lainnya seperti halnya bapak, ibu, dan lain-lain. Sebagai contoh, seorang ibu sesuai dengan tradisi dalam keluarga misalnya memiliki tugas serta tanggung jawab memelihara dan mendidik anak, membantu suami menyiapkan makanan, mengelola keuangan keluarga, dan lain-lain. Sedangkan seorang suami (ayah) juga memiliki tugas serta tanggung jawab antara lain member kenyamanan pada keluarga, mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga, memimpin keluarga, dan lain-lain. Seluruh kumpulan tugas serta tanggung jawab sosial dari masing-masing anggota keluarga itu bisa berjalan oleh karena telah di atur serta di tentukan oleh masyarakat berdasarkan norma-norma yang telah disepakati secara turun temurun. Namun dalam realitannya, selain dalam lingkungan keluarga seperangkat atau sengkumpulan aturan-aturan (norma-norma) sosial itu terdapat pula dalam lingkungan kelompok-kelompok sosial lainnya seperti halnya lingkungan politik (pemerintahan), pendidikan, perekonomian, keagamaan dan lain-lain. Dalam setiap kehidupan masyarakat ada serangkaiian norma yang harus ditaati norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat mengikat untuk dilaksanakan. Hal ini disebabkan norma dapat menjadi pedoman untuk mengatur kehidupan bersama. Sekumpulan norma tersebut yang dinamakan pranata sosial. Dengan demikian pranata sosial memiliki peran penting bagi keberlangsungan hidup suatu masyarakat. Sedangkan keluarga yang menjalankan aturan serta norma-norma tersebut merupakan suatu contoh lembaga. Lembaga sosial atau lembaga kemasyarakatan merupakan terjemahan langsung dari istilah asing sosial-institution. Namun pengertian lembaga lebih menunjuk pada sesuatu bentuk, sekaligus juga pengertian yang abstrak perihal adanya norma-norma dan peraturan-peraturan tertentu yang menjadi ciri-ciri lembaga tersebut. Norma-norma tersebut apabila diwujudkan dalam hubungan antar manusia dinamakan sosial organitation (organisasi sosial). Didalam perkembangannya norma-norma tersebut berkelompok-kelompok, ada berbagai keperluan pokok kehidupan manusia. Misalnya kebutuhan hidup kekerabatan seperti pelamaran, perkawinan, perceraian dan lain sebagainya. Kebutuhan akan mata pencaharian, seperti pertanian, peternakan, koperasi, industri dan lain-lain. Kebutuhan akan pendidikan menimbulkan lembaga-lembaga kemasyarakatan seperti pondok pesantren, taman kanak-kanak, sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama, sekolah menengah atas, perguruan tinggi dan lain sebagainya.
