T he present study was designed to examine the relationship between parents' emotional intelligence and adolescents' aggression, through the mediation of parenting styles. Two hundred and twenty five undergraduate students (113 boys & 112 girls; age 17-18 years), from four universities in Pakistan, participated with their parents. The Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (Robinson, Mandleco, Olsen, & Hart, 1995), and the Scale of Emotional Intelligence (Batool & Khalid, 2011) were completed by parents. The Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perry, 1992) was completed by their adolescent offspring. Mediational path analysis supported our hypothesised model. Results indicate that emotional intelligence of parents indirectly links to aggression among offspring, through parenting styles. It was concluded that emotional intelligence training will help parents to improve their parenting styles, and it will lower the risk of aggression in their children.

Impact of Parenting Style on Adolescent Aggressive Behaviour
The cardinal aim of existing research isto measure the impact of parenting style on aggressive behavior. To reach the objectives of the present study the primary data was collectedof 100 adolescents between the age group 15-19 years (mean age = 15.68) through purposive and convenient sampling methods from Ernakulam District, Kerala. For the assessment procedure Scale of Parenting Style and the Aggression Scale were used. As the research is under process, therefore the obtained primary data will be statistically analyzed through descriptive, inferential and correlation statistics The findings will be discussed on the basis of the literature review. Findings discovered that parenting styles and aggression has no connections, nevertheless when each factor of parenting style is considered the more control the less aggressive the child will be. In other words the more the control is the child will be submissive in nature. Aggression is almost same in boys and girls.

Finding out how different parenting styles affect students’ levels of aggression and self-esteem was the lashing force behind this study. 100 students participated as per the randomly from Khordha, Odisha region. Students' gender was the sole criterion for evaluation. The wholesale of the study’s participants were students, in the age range of fifteen to seventeen. The calculated results presented a positive and strong correlation between aggressive parenting styles and aggressive behaviour, indicating that more authoritarian parenting styles may be associated with more aggressive behaviour. Having said that, there is no strong association among controlling styles of parenting and low selfesteem. Furthermore, a strong evidence linking in parenting styles of authoritarian to aggressive behaviour, which suggests that more authoritarian parenting methods may be associated with more aggressive children. These results show complicated relationship among parenting styles, aggressiveness, and self-esteem and that other factors might influence these results.

Introduction: Aggression is a conscious behavior which its purpose is to exert physical and psychological suffering. In order to reduce this social disorder, we should search the causes in the family as the first and most effective child behavioral pattern. Purpose of the present investigation was to study the role of parental attitude in development of aggressive behavior among adolescents. The sample comprised of 200 (100 male and 100 female) undergraduate students of Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh. Parent-Child Relation Questionnaire (PCRQ) (Singh, 1984) was used for measuring parental attitude and Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perry, 1992) was used for measuring adolescents aggression. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and t-test were used for analyzing the data. Result revealed that there was significant negative correlation between positive parental attitude and aggression. Adolescence is the time which is crucial for the overall development of a person both mentally and physically. In this period, along with academic intelligence, emotional intelligence (EI) also plays an equal or strong role in student life. This study was to assess EI, parental bonding, and their association among adolescents in high schools under Sarjapur PHC area. This was a cross-sectional study conducted among high school students under Sarjapur PHC area. The EI was assessed using EI scale which measured self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Abstract: The study was conducted in the geographic location of Nagpur City, Maharashtra, India. The area of focus were the students that belong to the age group – 13 to 18 years, total of 100 respondents, 50 male and 50 female were finalized from various schools. The purpose of the study was to see the effect of parenting style on developing self-concept and aggression. The respondents were sensitized to the nature of the study and requested to provide information. To compute the observations t-test was used. It was observed that the self-concept of females was significantly higher than the males [N=100 (50M & 50 F), Means for Male=168.72 and Female=171.82, SD=14.20, & 15.95 respectively, t=4.019]. Moreover, a significant difference was observed in the level of aggression, the males were observed to be more aggressive than the females [N=100 (50M & 50 F), Means for Male=74.7 and Female=62.8, SD=12.5, & 11.62 respectively, t=4.937]. It was also observed that there is no significant difference in the way girls perceive their parents than the boys. Therefore it can be said that each child may perceive his parent differently irrespective of a girl or a boy. Further study on the effect of four parenting style suggest that, there is a strong positive relationship between parenting styles and development of self-concept and aggression in students. Democratic parenting style helps to build a positive self-concept of the child, whereas Authoritarian parenting increases the aggression level in the student.
