This paper presents the design and implementation of microcontroller based security door system (using mobile phone and computer set). The security door can either receive command through the mobile phone or through the computer system (configured to output data through the parallel port). Considering the high rate of crime and insecurity, there is an urgent need to design a security door that takes proper measure to prevent intrusion, unwanted and unauthorized user(s). To solve these problems associated with other security doors, the project uses a computer system running on visual basic (6.0), DTMF decoder and microcontroller as its main components to control the door. The result of these processes led to a security door which can be accessed by entering the corresponding keys of the assigned codes on the mobile phone, or by entering the corresponding code in a computer set interfaced with the system. The door opens automatically when the right code is entered and remains open for (10 seconds) before closing back. The designed system has been proven to be a reasonable advancement in access control and door security system technology. GSM BASED DOOR OPEN AND CLOSE, LOCK AND UNLOCK SYSTEM
IRJET, 2022
To control more number of swing doors with advance technology, electrical devices and smart electronics we proposed a GSM based door open and close, lock and unlock system. We developed a prototype model for one swing door. In this system GSM module SIM800C, 4×4 keypad, two DC servo motor, Buzzer LTE12 and Arduino UNO (ATmega328) are used. The two DC servo motor SG90 control the door open and close, lock and unlock using GSM module or with keypad password. Buzzer is used for alarming if the password entered is wrong.
Feasibility Study of Implementation of CellPhone Controlled, Password Protected DoorLocking System
International Journal of Innovative Research in Computer and Communication Engineering, 2013
This article summarizes the use of DTMF signalling technology to send and receive the control commands from user in order to open or close the door. Password protection is given to the system with help of microcontroller and corresponding algorithm that authenticate the user by checking the password provided by the user. So, if and only if the user press correct password then only user get authenticate and gets the access to open or close the door. Above said work has been examined theoretically as well as practically in this article. The feasibility of implementation is examined with the help of simulator which would indicate the real time results of system mentioned here.
Now a day's Security has been a prime concern in the home or office management. Digital door lock security system provides security and safety to house or office owners, belongings, assets from being damaged by external agent or undesired strangers. We have used a new technology, incoming number verification system which gives more protection for controlling & security system. As Conventional security system does not use any password, there is a chance to hack or break the system. In this regard we used a desire mobile number without verification which doesn't allow the door to be opend. This system is composed of the microcontroller based by using matrix keypad & GSM/CDMA network. The microcontroller based digital door lock security system is an access control system that allows only authorized persons to access restricted area. The password is stored in PROM so that we can change it any time. The system has a matrix keypad .When anyone enter the code in the matrix keypad, microcontroller verify the codes. If that code is correct the device will operate and the door will be open. But if someone enter wrong code a red signal will be shown which means that the entered code is wrong.GSM/CDMA module can be used to operate the device, when anyone make a call from his mobile the receiving device which is set in main circuitry will receive the call. If the call is from desired number then operate the device and the door will be unlocked. An IPS circuit can be used for giving backup in case of emergency when there is a power failure.
Password Based Door Locking System Using Microcontroller
2017
The purpose of this project is to provide security at (house, ATM, office etc.) in this system the user will have to register a unique password. The information will be stored in data base. Whenever the right password will be received, the controller will accordingly give instruction to dc motor. Dc motor will perform the action on door unlocking. We want to utilize the electronic technology to build an integrated and fully customized home security system at a reasonable cost.
Application of Microcontroller in Door Locking System
Microcontrollers are utilized in different applications. One such application is the utilization of microcontrollers in entryway locking framework. The major utilization of this venture is to give security in houses, ATM and so forth We need to enter a secret phrase at first. The secret key will be saved in the information base of the microcontroller. At whatever point the right secret phrase will be entered with the assistance of keypad. The regulator will send guidance to the DC engine and the entryway will be opened. This electronic innovation can be utilized to make a completely altered and customized entryway locking framework.
Keypad/Bluetooth/GSM Based Digital Door Lock Security System
Proceedings of the International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing 2016 (ICCASP 2016)
This paper discusses the design and implementations of an electronic door lock/unlock compact system using the arduino platform. These security systems enable to lock/unlock the door using three different modes i.e. Keypad, Bluetooth and Global System for Mobile (GSM) modules. These three modules operate on a 4-digit password. We can open or close the door by using keypad, bluetooth application from smart phone and also by using 4 digit message from GSM phone. If any unknown person does the three consecutive unsuccessful attempts to enter the password in any one of the system, then arduino controller will send a warning message to preset owner GSM mobile number and also initiate the buzzer alarm as a warning of unauthorized intrusion. We have got the good experimental results and promising analysis in all these three modules.
Development of a Microcontroller-Controlled Security Door System
2009
Over the years, several security measures have been employed to combat the menace of insecurity of lives and property. This is done by preventing unauthorized entrance into buildings through entrance doors using conventional and electronic locks, discrete access code, and biometric methods such as the finger prints, thumb prints, the iris and facial recognition. In this paper, a prototyped door security system is designed to allow a privileged user to access a secure keyless door where valid smart card authentication guarantees an entry. The model consists of hardware module and software which provides a functionality to allow the door to be controlled through the authentication of smart card by the microcontroller unit.
Design and Development of a Password-Based Door Lock Security System
This work is a design and development of a micro-controller based, password enabled door lock for home security. The work involved building a working model of a security door lock that is password protected with an AT89C52 microcontroller which operates by sending control signals to a H-bridge that controls the opening and closing of a model door connected to a stepper motor. Accessing and changing various information and settings are done via an electronic system that allows the user to enter secret pass codes via a 4 × 4 keypad and a 16 × 2 LCD display. The design incorporated a serial EEPROM that can retain the information during power outages and runs on available power from the mains supply. Once the circuit is plugged to the mains supply, the LCD displays the different menu functions and waits for data input from the keypad, the illustrative door slides open and close when a valid pass code is entered. The work was designed, developed, and tested and found to perform according to design objectives.
