This study aims to analyze whether the locus of control which is owned by auditor affects on job stress, job satisfaction and performance. The study also aims to determine whether locus of control as personality variable may moderate the relationship between job stress, job satisfaction and performance. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to the public accounting firm where the auditors work. Population in this study was the auditor which is work on Semarang with sampling using accidental sampling. The number of questionnaires that were distributed are 53 pieces, which can be used for sample analysis are 42 pieces. The analysis tools were independent sample t-test and the residual test in SPSS Ver.17. Work engagement is an important aspect that must be owned by employees to improve their performance. Hubungan Job Insecurity Dan Komitmen Organisasi Pada Karyawan Pt. KX

An unstable condition of a company causes the need to downsize the organizations structure by doing layoff. This circumstance evokes a feeling of insecurity in the employees, known as job insecurity. The present study's objective was to examine if there is a relationship between job insecurity and organizational commitment in the current employees of PT. KX in Jakarta, while other employees have been laid off. The present study was done by distributing a questionnaire to 89 employees in PT. KX. The study was a correlational research with quantitative method. The sampling technique was criterion sampling. The results showed that there is a significant negative relationship between job insecurity and organizational commitment. Therefore, the conclusion of the present study is that the lower the job insecurity among employees, the higher the organizational commitment towards the company, vice versa.

Penelitian ini menjelaskan lokus control dalam diri wirausahwan sebagai salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan mereka dalam berwirausaha. Hasil dari penelitian didapat dari eksplorasi kajian literatur yang sudah ada dengan menggunakan variabel lokus control dan wirausahawan sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa wirausaha membutuhkan dorongan dari dalam individu dan keyakinan bahwa kendali atas wirausahanya ada pada diri sendiri. Namun, dukungan sosial seperti dari keluarga juga dapat menjadi faktor pendukung dalam memulai kegiatan wirausaha.

ANALISIS PENGARUH LOCUS OF CONTROL PADA KINERJA KARYAWAN

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh locus of control terhadap kinerja individu dan untuk mengathui indek persepsi pegawai pada variabel locus of control dan kinerja individu pegawai. Sample penelitian ini adalah 80 pegawai Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan purposive sampling. Uji instrument digunakan uji CFA dan cronbach alpha serta uji normalitas data dengan uji kolmogorof smirnov. Uji hipotesis dengan uji t melalui regresi tunggal. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa locus of control berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja individu dan rata-rata indeks persepsi karyawan untuk locus of control dan kinerja adalah tinggi. Hal ini menunujukkan bahwa tingkat locus of control dan kinerja karyawan rata-rata adalah baik. Kata kunci: persepsi LOC, locus of control, kinerja individu. Abstract The aims of this study are to analyze the impact of locus of control toward individual performance and to analyze indexs of locus of control based on respondents perseptions. Samples of this study are 80 employes of the University Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Technique sampling used purposive sampling. To analyze the data used t test of single regression, validity test with Confirmatory Factor Analysis dan cronbach alpha to measurement test. Normality test with kolmogorov smirnov test. The results of the hypothesis shows that locus of control had significance influence to individual performance. Mean of index perseptions was high on locus of control and employess performance. The result refer that the employes had good awerenes of locus of control and good in individual performance.

PENGARUH STRES KERJA DAN JOB INSECURITY TERHADAP KINERJA OPERATOR KONTRAK BAGIAN PRODUKSI PT GISTEX TEXTILE DIVISION CIMAHI

Kinerja operator kontrak bagian produksi pada PT Gistex Textile Division Cimahi mengalami penurunan dilihat dari data Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Turunnya kinerja diduga disebabkan oleh stres kerja dan job insecurity yang dialami oleh operator kontrak bagian produksi pada saat bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja dan job insecurity terhadap operator kontrak bagian produksi PT Gistex Textile Division Cimahi. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik penentuan responden menggunakan populasi dengan jumlah responden 131 orang untuk variabel stres kerja (X1) dan job insecurity (X2) serta 8 orang untuk variabel kinerja (Y). Metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengukuran data menggunakan skala semantic differencial, Teknik pengujian alat ukur menggunakan uji validitas dan reliablitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan asosiatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda dan determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja secara parsial berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja dan job insecurity secara parsial berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja, kemudian secara simultan stres kerja dan job insecurity berpengaruh terhadap kinerja operator kontrak PT Gistex Textile Division Cimahi.
