This research aims to understand the vision and the reaction of the population towards tourism and holidays during this period of the COVID-19 pandemic. It investigates also the tourist needs of the Algerian population after the closure of international borders. Methods: The data were collected using mixed quantitative and qualitative methods through a questionnaire applied to 203 people in different regions of Algeria (a North African country) from 1st June to 13 July 2020. Results: The needs of Algerian tourists are characterized by a great need for leisure to relieve psychological stress caused by COVID-19 (M = 25.33) among the study sample (p <0.05). The results also show an average need to rationalize the costs of tourist services (M = 5.26) according to the respondents (p <0.01). The COVID 19 pandemic heavily deteriorated the tourism and hospitality industries worldwide. New Norms were set. In reality, extra travel barriers were made, which made a critical situation. In these critical circumstances, fingers pointed to domestic tourism as an urgent solution to help in surviving the tourism and hospitality industries. This highlighted the importance of this research, as it investigated local tourists' attitudes regarding the tourism and hospitality industries' activities in Egypt and Jordan. This study aimed to develop a comparative case study between Egyptian and Jordanian travellers to help in identifying the domestic tourists' preferences to figure hospitality and tourism post COVID-19 world. An online survey was developed and distributed via social media and travel agent websites to achieve the study purpose. The Means, standard deviation, and sample t-test were used in the analysis. The findings asserted that the COVID 19 pandemic has significant impacts on the tourists' attitudes in the tourism and hospitality industries' activities and highlighted the differences and similarities between the domestic Egyptian and Jordanian tourists. This study aims to explore the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the components of the international tourism (the international tourists arrivals, the international tourists receipts, Hospitality and restaurants, The employment in tourism.); to achieve this purpose, we divide the paper into two axes, the first is devoted to the literature review of the issue, while the second is devoted to studying a set of studies and statistics issued by a group of the international reports. Finally, the initial results at the beginning of this pandemic indicate a decrease in the international flows of tourists by about 30% in the first semester of 2020 relative to 2019 as a result of the quarantine, which will negatively affect all components of the international tourism sector.

Little information is known about the impact of pandemic/epidemic on a tourist's choice of destination. To fulfill this gap, Conservation of Resources Theory and Fear Appeal Theory are used. The current study aims to get first-hand information regarding people's perception of tourism services, perception of susceptibility, perception of travel risk, and self-efficacy on travel following Covid-19 pandemic. Besides, revealing the impacts of visitors' gender and nationality on all these dimensions. Drawing on a sample of 1,112 valid questionnaires from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which had a domestic or international travel experience, was utilized to collect the data throughout an online survey. The data were analyzed using factor analyses, mean comparison, standard deviation, Mann-Whitney Test & Kruskal-Wallis Test to check the aim and validity of the study. The findings revealed that Covid-19 pandemic influences GCC potential tourists significantly in many ways. Finally, this paper provided some practical implications for reopening the tourism and hospitality business after the Covid-19.

Specific challenges for overall tourism industry were evident during the SARS outbreak, mainly due to the fact that majority of tourists cancelled or postponed their travels. Accordingly, previous research indicated that understanding the impact of unexpected crises and risks is essential for tourism recovery. The fact that COVID-19 is prone to global expansion increased the fear of travelling, which additionally supported the previously mentioned claim. Uncertainty on whether or not the crisis is over, and whether or not it will repeat anywhere in the world, could affect tourists' and managers' perception of the virus as a serious threat. This research will analyse changes in tourism trends, on global as well as national and local levels in Serbia. Also, through conversations with various stakeholders, their perceptions of the impact of the pandemic on tourism will be determined. The research results will support and provide findings needed for managerial actions aimed at tourism recovery and adjustment to this unique situation.

The Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic: How are the Future Tourist Behavior

Aims: This research examines tourist travel intentions after the end of the pandemic. Study Design: Descriptive quantitative study. Place and Duration of Study: Research from February-April 2020 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Methodology: This research is a descriptive study describing the current situation using a quantitative approach. Probability sampling with simple random sampling. Data collection using survey methods by distributing online questionnaires (Google Form) through WhatsApp broadcast messages and reach 128 respondents. Simple quantitative data analysis. Results: The travel preferences are (78%), or the majority of respondents said they would go back on tour. About (65%) will return to travel in the near term, which is 0-6 months after the pandemic is declared over, of the type of tourism desired by respondents is nature tourism by (66%), The majority of the desired tour duration is short-period, which is 1-4 days. The survey results show that travel intention mean value is higher than travel anxiety. Conclusion: Empirical predictions of tourist behavior after this pandemic ends. There are passion and optimism that tourism will recover faster because the majority of respondents in this study have planned when and where they will immediately after COVID-19 pandemic end with new travel preferences.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenge for the world community since its inception in December 2019. The rapid and massive transmission to all corners of the world has forced various parties to implement policies that harm many sectors. This includes the tourism industry sector. The industry is required to adapt to new habits by participating in presenting policies that are able to provide safe and comfortable tourism for tourists. However, after the many pressures and prohibitions faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, it indirectly changed people's behavior as tourists. Therefore, this study aims to find out which direction changes in tourist behavior globally during the Covid-19 pandemic. Results and discussions: The results of this study indicate that there is a change in tourist behavior related to destination preferences, transportation, and accommodation. Conclusion: Tourists prefer accommodation in the form of villas and longer duration. Meanwhile, the main priority of tourists during the pandemic is cleanliness and health, so if you want to recover quickly, the tourism industry players from upstream to downstream must be able to present clean and healthy tourism
