Indonesian Culture Learning Application based on Android

Indonesia is a country that has a wealth of diverse cultures spread from Sabang to Merauke. Even though the government has included a lesson about Indonesian culture in terms of some subjects such as Art and Culture, but there are still many people including some students who do not know the forms and names of the tribes, traditional houses, traditional clothing, folk songs, traditional foods, local weapons, and musical instruments regions in Indonesia. Therefore, a learning application is created that utilizes mobile learning technology. Through the used of mobile learning, user can access learning content without any borders so that it can be accessed at any time so that it can be accessed at any time with interesting illustration. Indonesian National Culture Application is made useful to help users in learning the introduction of Indonesian culture that provides the knowledge with illustrations in the form of images, audio, text and video. This application also can be functioned to learn, answer quiz, to view a gallery of images and video and to do puzzle games. The achieved result is an application that can provide knowledge to the users so they can know the culture in Indonesia through the illustrations provided well.

This research aims at (1) developing android-based Indonesian language learning media for Thai students, (2) revealing the feasibility of the developed android-based Indonesian language learning media, and (3) revealing the effectiveness of the developed android-based Indonesian language learning media in improve the learning motivation of Thai students. This research was research and development refering to Borg & Gall. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The population of the study was Thai University students studying in the City of Yogyakarta. The vaidators consisted of one material expert, one media expert, three Thai student as the subject of the small group test, and 20 students of large group trials. The findings show that the developed android-base learning media consists of three levels to be studied, each of which consists of three parts of video material and evaluation. The results show that the designed product met the feasibility criteria from the validation of media, material, users, and the result of main field testing. There is a significant increase in Thai students' learning motivation after using android-based Indonesian learning media with the significance value of less than 0.05 (p <0.05). Based on these results, it can be said that the developed android-base learning media is effective to be used as an alternative to improve Thai students' Indonesian learning motivation.
Development of Android E-Modules in the Form of Flip Books Based on Balinese Local Wisdom

This study aims to produce an android e-module in the form of a flip book based on Balinese local wisdom on the course of early childhood language development methods that meet the feasibility in terms of content and construct validity as well as practical use in the classroom. This is a research and development (R&D) method with the Borg & Gall model. This study collected data using interview guidelines, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The obtained data are then examined to determine the validity and practicability of the produced product. According to the testing findings, the android e-module in the form of a Flip Book based on Balinese local knowledge has fulfilled the feasibility in terms of content validity in the very excellent category with a score of 4.63 out of a possible score of 5.00. One of Indonesia's traditional fabrics that has its own distinctive and value is the Palembang Songket. Not only has an aesthetic value, but Palembang songket also has a philosophical value and a very deep meaning for each piece of fabric. Diversity decorative fabric traditional Indonesia is one of the cultural assets that must continue to be preserved and maintained their specifics. The diversity of ornamental Palembang songket fabric but not accompanied by the interest of the younger generation to get to know the traditional decorative fabric variety. Teenagers as the next generation of the nation have a big role in preserving and maintaining culture from generation to generation. One solution to protect and preserve the culture of Indonesia to the younger generation is to build a Digital Interactive Encyclopedia to introduce the diversity of ornamental Songket based mobile intended for junior high school students. Learning media encourages learning. Limitations of learning media in Buddhist education in Sunday schools give impetus to researchers to develop multimedia to develop appropriate media. This research aims to build Android application-based learning media on the material of puja facilities and infrastructure in Buddhism. A Multimedia set is expected to be able to provide good results in learning. This approach uses research and development methods to develop Android-based Multimedia as a learning medium for Buddhist Sunday Schools in Pesawaran Regency. The study population was 144, with a sample of 21 learners. The development flow refers to the Bord and Gall development steps. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentages to determine the questionnaire's validity and reliability and evaluate the product's effectiveness-assessment of product trials tested to media experts, material experts, and teacher and student users. The results showed that Android-based Multimedia had passed validation and operational tests with reasonable criteria, and the effects of field tests showed a significant difference between the average scores before and after using the application. Therefore, the application developed can be an effective learning medium for Buddhist Sunday Schools.

Batik as one of the Indonesian nation's wealth in the form of art and is a national heritage, makes the Indonesian people have their own characteristics in the international world. Batik was designated as a Humanitarian Heritage for oral culture and non-materialism on October 2, 2009 by UNESCO after claims from neighboring countries namely Malaysia who claimed batik originated and originated from the Malay country. Most of the people, especially the younger generation using batik are considered ancient clothes and some people also assume that batik comes from Java. Even though in Indonesia, every region already has a type of batik with different motifs and characteristics. Similarly, the manufacturing process. In the current era of globalization, many people have difficulty learning the motifs and types of batik. This is due to the influx of western cultural influences and the lack of infrastructure in the process of identifying batik for the current generation. To meet the needs of the media that can provide appropriate information, one of them is the existence of an encyclopedia. One method used in the application design process is by observing the process of making batik directly. In addition to observing, a question and answer session ware also conducted with the speakers, namely batik craftsmen. The purpose of the process of making an application in the form of an encyclopedia about batik is to introduce and provide information about Indonesian batik that is applied to Android-based smartphones.
