Various ways had been taken to promote the Indonesian culture in conventional media such as magazines, books, and even articles. The receiver generation who had lived in the abundance of technological world of digital media was the next target of inheritance and one way to do it was with the mobile application technology. So, it would be nice if the society started to take a big step to be more focused in the dissemination of culture and pass it following the development of the time, of course, without losing national identity. One of many interesting Indonesian Culture was Topeng Bali (Balinese Mask). Through observation and field research, knowledge about the art of Balinese mask was gathered, and later present it in form of mobile application. This research used the qualitative and quantitative method. The qualitative research was done by collecting data sampling from some of the selected target markets in limited quantities, while quantitative research was done by spreading the questionnaires that will be created and distributed to the main target market but not in the number and selected resource persons. This research finds that the mobile application is deemed appropriate to be one medium that can distribute effectively and efficiently in promoting one of Indonesia culture, Balinese mask.
Designing a Digital Book History of Indonesia Fine Arts as a Learning Media in Class

Stereotyped as boring modules, some people considered theoretical-taught classes to be less interesting in comparison with the practice-as-research classes. One example of these theoretical classes is the History module. This research investigates how the educators in the History of Indonesia Fine Art module attempted to overcome these challenges by renewing their teaching techniques and using new media as tools to reach the objectives of the module. As a nature of history module, the History of Indonesia Fine Art module is packed with insights concerning the nation's ancient artefacts and their significances. It is designed to help the student to understand their ancestor's way of life through their material cultures. Ancient artefacts that generally are deemed as outdate objects actually possess incredible potential, for those who have learned its pastime significance and draw its correlation with today's society. The objective of the History of Indonesia Fine Art module is to encourage student to take history as their source of inspiration in creating their artworks. To help the learning process in the class, various methods and learning media were adapted each time. Now, with the increasing use of gadgets such as tablet or cellular phone, we can transform the History of Indonesia Fine Art into a digital book or e-book. This digital book will contain a lot more visual content than the previously printed books, which predominantly consist of texts. Student can use audio or video to learn and if there is an assignment, the student can do it online. With that background, the use of digital book of the History of Indonesia Fine Art can facilitate easier independent learning..

Indonesian Language Course for Foreigners or familiar with Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) is aimed to introduce Indonesian language as well as the culture to the learners. The purposes of this research are (1) to find out the characteristics of learning media in the form of a pictorial dictionary of love Indonesiaandroid based application for BIPA learners, (2) formulating development principle of the media development in the form of pictorial dictionary of love Indonesia-android based Application for BIPA learners, and (3) the BIPA learners think about the design or the prototype of pictorial dictionary of love Indonesia-android based Application. This research is using the research and development approach (R&D) which will be done in five steps. Indonesia has many talented artists who use various media for their products. Digital media especially mobile application may not been explored thoroughly by artists because lack of programming skills. In order to fill the gap between technology and art in developing mobile application, we are working on an action research, designing an engine titled VisNoE. It is a freeware engine to create Visual Novels, a digital content which normally relies heavily on visuals, story, and some programming skills. This paper will depict the design process, experiment on a group of visual artist, evaluation and feedback process in order to encourage the creative process in mobile application creation in Indonesia. Information is a necessity in this era, so it encourages the advancement of information technology flourish and rapidly, in addition it provides some varieties of ways to catch the users obtaining information and technology. One of the conveniences of that fashion is that students at junior high school can easily access dealing with Biology learning material. Information and technology in the form of multimedia-based software packaged as a media of learning some particulars subjects, in this case they apply to Biology learning. Instructional media provide an overview and understanding to the junior high school students in studying Biology visually, dynamic and interactive. Learning in a visual medium provides visualization interest in studying biology, so students can understand the material SMP comprehensively. An interactive learning media gives the impression that the learning is carried out by two-sided directions, yet the students are invited to participate as creators in studying Biology. Multimedia-based learning media packed into software which capable in presenting the material, in this case is Biology. The material is presented visually and moves dynamically in order to motivate the students in understanding the Biology. The software in multimedia-based learning is purposed to create an autonomous learning system for students. Instructional media built in desktop and run as a single-independent application; therefore, students can run this application even though the internet connection is not available. This instructional media development using object-based method with the waterfall model. This learning media applications built with Adobe Flash Professional CS6 with action script 2.0 for achieving visualization, dynamic, and interactive multimedia-based learning method.
Indonesian Culture Learning Application based on Android

Indonesia is a country that has a wealth of diverse cultures spread from Sabang to Merauke. Even though the government has included a lesson about Indonesian culture in terms of some subjects such as Art and Culture, but there are still many people including some students who do not know the forms and names of the tribes, traditional houses, traditional clothing, folk songs, traditional foods, local weapons, and musical instruments regions in Indonesia. Therefore, a learning application is created that utilizes mobile learning technology. Through the used of mobile learning, user can access learning content without any borders so that it can be accessed at any time so that it can be accessed at any time with interesting illustration. Indonesian National Culture Application is made useful to help users in learning the introduction of Indonesian culture that provides the knowledge with illustrations in the form of images, audio, text and video. This application also can be functioned to learn, answer quiz, to view a gallery of images and video and to do puzzle games. The achieved result is an application that can provide knowledge to the users so they can know the culture in Indonesia through the illustrations provided well.
Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Ensiklopedia Batik Indonesia Berbasis Android

Batik as one of the Indonesian nation's wealth in the form of art and is a national heritage, makes the Indonesian people have their own characteristics in the international world. Batik was designated as a Humanitarian Heritage for oral culture and non-materialism on October 2, 2009 by UNESCO after claims from neighboring countries namely Malaysia who claimed batik originated and originated from the Malay country. Most of the people, especially the younger generation using batik are considered ancient clothes and some people also assume that batik comes from Java. Even though in Indonesia, every region already has a type of batik with different motifs and characteristics. Similarly, the manufacturing process. In the current era of globalization, many people have difficulty learning the motifs and types of batik. This is due to the influx of western cultural influences and the lack of infrastructure in the process of identifying batik for the current generation. To meet the needs of the media that can provide appropriate information, one of them is the existence of an encyclopedia. One method used in the application design process is by observing the process of making batik directly. In addition to observing, a question and answer session ware also conducted with the speakers, namely batik craftsmen. The purpose of the process of making an application in the form of an encyclopedia about batik is to introduce and provide information about Indonesian batik that is applied to Android-based smartphones.

Indonesia is a country that has a vast territory and creates the characteristics of each area. Having many regions with different cultures gives a variousflavors of food typical of each region. However, due to the times, some of these traditional foods have become extinct. In this design it aims to create an educational medium for teenagers about traditional Central Javanese food in the form of an illustration book. The research method used in this design is descriptive qualitative which has the characteristics of being a direct data source, descriptive in nature, more concerned with processes than results, carried out by means of inductive analysis, and meaning is essential. The research data were obtained from the bibliography, data from traditional snack traders, and responses from SMA Batik 2 Surakarta students as well as responses from teenagers in several areas in Central Java. The concept of this design is to prepare reading topics and narratives, create storylines, create character concepts, visual and non-visual concepts, make illustration sketches and layouts, and a series of financial plans to create an illustration book 'Serba-Serbi Rasa Jawa Tengah' with physical book as the primary media. As for supporting media as information and publication media, namely in the form of posters, tumblrs, stickers, key chains, and Instagram social media.
Development of Encyclopedia Media Based on Indonesian Cultural Diversity

Based on a survey of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) conducted (2018) in 181 districts and 34 provinces involving 12,056 respondents found that 10% of respondents did not memorize Pancasila and only about 67-78% of respondents knew about the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Indonesia National Board for Disaster Management (BNPT) survey results in 2019 found that diversity education content has a low score compared to other dimensions. Education can be used as a preventive means of prevention of intolerant behaviors that are currently rife in Indonesia. The fading of the nation's cultural values among the younger generation due to the negative impact of globalization should certainly be a concern of many parties, including education. Diversity education has often been considered to interfere with the learning process in the classroom. Diversity materials can actually be integrated into materials taught in the classroom, especially in social science subjects. Problematic of learning that is still lacking in the variety of learning media and not contextual causes the material of Indonesian cultural diversity is not delivered optimally and students are not interested in learning it. Analysis conducted to teachers and students shows the need for learning media that can help teachers and students learn diversity. Researchers developed encyclopedia media as an alternative learning medium to study diversity, especially in the field of culture. This research is an Research and Development study using 4D models. The 4D development model consists of 4 main stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The media is validated by material experts and media experts to assess the feasibility of the media encyclopedia diversity, especially in the field of culture. This study examined the condition of geographic areas in each region, then identified various forms of culture. Furthermore, this study tries to explore everything about the ins and outs of philosophy or meaning and values of each existing culture. The results of this study are encyclopedia media based on Indonesian culture which includes geographical location, language, traditional house, traditional dance, traditional clothing, food, traditional tools and local traditions.
