The researchers on the basis of present study tried to prove when the cognitive intelligence is measured automatically. In any way, emotional intelligence also being measured automatically. In other words if a student is cognitively intelligent, will he/she also be emotionally intelligent relatively or not. It is different according to sex, locality etc. so in order to find out the difference between cognitive and emotional intelligence of students the researcher decided to see the difference between emotional intelligence and cognitive intelligence of the students.
An Exploration of Emotional Intelligence Level of Students

This study is conducted to find the different components of Emotional intelligence of the students of different department in University, Dharwad. Factor analysis was performed to determine the various factors affecting the intelligence of the students. The samples were collected through questionnaire. Fifteen observations were identified from the present literature and have been put to test to arrive at four different factors. The study satisfied sampling adequacy through KMO and Bartlett’s and concludes by categorising the homogeneous observations into the factors namely Self-awareness, self-control, self-regulation and Empathy.

So the study is mainly concerned with analysis of the Emotional Intelligence of students and its relation with academic performance. The objective of the study is to find the level of Emotional Intelligence of the students; to find the difference in EI levels of students with respect to their demographic like: gender, age and residential area and relation of Emotional Intelligence (EI) of students with their academic achievement. Data of 100 students from MDU, rohtak was collected randomly using EI tool developed by Prof. Roquiya Zainuddin and Dr. Anjum Ahmed and then analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Karl pearson's correlation. In analysis, a negative and insignificant relationship is found between EI and Academic achievements. Majority of the students are having average level of EI and EI has no significant relation with age, Gender or residential area.
A Study of Emotional Intelligence of Secondary Level Students

Emotional intelligence is very important not only for employees but employers too. It increases productivity. But if the teachers are not emotionally intelligent with their profession they cannot increase their performance and thus to contribute to education in the country. The objective of the study was to measure the Emotional intelligence of the secondary school teachers of CBSC and UP Board Allahabad city. The investigator selected the sample through random sampling, 200 teachers were selected from secondary schools. To collect the data researcher has used Teachers' Emotional Intelligence Inventory constructed and standardized by S. Mangal. The salient findings of the study was male and female are different in emotional intelligence and teachers of both board are different in emotional intelligence.

Aim. This descriptive study was conducted to determine and compare the emotional intelligence levels of senior students receiving education in different fields of Ataturk University.Methods. The population of the study consisted of senior students receiving education in different fields of Atatürk University. The sample group of study consisted of 305 senior students receiving education in different fields (health, social, and natural) and they were selected by using the simple random sampling method. Three faculties from three different fields were selected. The purpose of the research was to study the relation of emotional intelligence and academic achievement in commerce of XI grade students. Emotional Intelligence of students has been measured by a Mangal Emotional Intelligence Inventory (MEII) developed by Dr. S.K. Mangal and Mrs. Shubhra Mangal. Emotional Intelligence includes four aspects namely. This research studied the emotional intelligence levels of university students in the context of emotional intelligence extents; the difference in terms of demographic qualities of students and the majors they study and the relationship between emotional intelligence of students and their academic achievements. For this purpose, a questionnaire was filled in by students studying at five different faculties of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. The results of the research revealed that there is not any significant difference in the relationship between the faculty of students and their emotional intelligence, apart from the sociability. Besides, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the emotional intelligence and academic achievements and that almost 11 % of change in academic achievements can be explained by emotional intelligence.

The research was conducted on 803 students of 11th standards of kendriya vidyalaya higher secondary schools of Gujarat state. Survey research method was applied in this research. The kendriya vidyalaya higher secondary schools was selected through random sampling method and 11th standards students was selected through cluster sampling method. The result found that there is no significant difference between these variables Gender, Academic achievement and stream. This result is useful for the kendriya vidyalaya schools Principal, teacher, counselor to develop their student's future.

The objective of the study is to find out the significant impact of emotional intelligence on academic achievement of secondary school students on the basis of gender. Emotional Intelligence is treated as independent variable whereas academic achievement is taken as dependent variable. Descriptive survey was adopted in the present study. The sample consisted of secondary school students equally divided according to gender (Male &Female) which were randomly selected for conducting the study. For fulfilling the aim, a standardized and reliable Emotional Inventory Scale (EIS) developed by Dr Arun Kumar Singh &Dr ShrutiNarain was used to measure the level of emotional intelligence of adolescent’s students studying in secondary school and total percentage of end semester was obtained to assess the academic performance. To achieve the stated objective of the study the Mean and Standard Deviation for scores of different variables were used and further ‘t test’ and Pearson correlation was applied through SPSS to find out the significant impact of emotional intelligence on academic achievement of secondary school students. The analysis of data shows that there is no significant impact of emotional intelligence on academic achievement of boys but in girls it can be seen that emotional intelligence impacted academic achievement so boys may be courageous and neutral in managing their emotions as compared to girls are hypersensitive. An empirical correlation was identified between emotional intelligence and academic performance in the secondary school population. Investigation of Emotional Intelligence Level of University Students

This study was conducted to compare the levels of emotional intelligence of first and fourth grade students at Aksaray University and Kirikkale University. The research group consisted of 369 university students attending coaching and teaching departments in Aksaray University Physical Education and Sports High School and Kirikkale University Sports Sciences Faculty. The Surveyed Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale was used in the study. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, ANOVA and t-test were used on the SPSS package program. As a result of the research, no significant difference was found between students' gender, place of residence variables and emotional intelligence levels (p>0.05). Significant differences were observed between the sub dimensions of emotional intelligence and the department, the class, and situations whether they were professional athletes (p<0.05).
