Analysis of Online Classes in Physical Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Background and objectives: This study analyzed the effectiveness of the online practical classes (OPC) in physical education (PE) in compliance with the ADDIE model during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and Methods: Participants had no prior experience in OPC and total 75 participants were enrolled in this study. This study selected 15 universities in consideration of regional equality and randomly selected two professors and three students from each university. Results: (1) The learning interventions were not feasible for team projects. (2) In the implementation phase, most learners felt that errors persisted. (3) In the evaluation phase, educators reported unenthusiastic involvement of students and the learners were merely submitting assignments. (4) An appropriate level of the effectiveness through OPC showed significantly different between educators and learners. Conclusions: The findings indicate that timely and quality feedback should be provided for the successful execution of OPC in PE; the educators should prepare ahead and reduce technical errors and motivate learners continuously. Lastly, to prepare for the new normal after COVID-19, universities should provide enough time for educators to make OPC-videos and teach students in real time to ensure consistent feedback.

Considering the possibilities and limitations of distance education, it is important to create distance education systems that can benefit the physical education lessons at the highest level and to transform it into more qualified ones. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand the distance education problems in the teaching of the physical education lesson and the participation and orientation of the secondary school students, to investigate the developments related to the physical education lesson and to make a situation assessment. The participants of the study are secondary school students (n = 403) who were educated in Private Schools that provide synchronous education in pandemic process and have "morning sports" or "physical education lessons" in their curriculum. As a data collection tool, a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 15 questions was used. It was determined that there is a statistically significant difference between students' level of participation in sports lessons and all other variables (p < 0.001). As a result, it was seen that families and students did not have the habit of doing sports at the desired level in normal time. It suggests that there are some problems in the processing and application of this course. While the lesson is expected to become much more important, especially in this dormant and inactive period, it is not an expected situation to receive this level of interest.
The Analysis Of The Online Physical Education Learning During The Pandemic In The Outmost Area

This study aims to identify how the online physical education learning process is during the pandemic. The design used is causal comparative (ex-post facto). The aim is to see how the learning activities and what media are used by Physical Education teachers. The instrument used was an online questionnaire with several questions, starting from the identity of the teacher, the media used, the obstacles experienced by teachers in online learning and the teacher's perceptions of online learning today. The sample used was elementary to high school physical education teachers. The results showed that the use of learning application media was obtained for elementary school physical education teachers who preferred more to use social media WhatsApp for teachers aged <40 years = 49%, junior high school teachers aged 24-40 years = 35.54% preferred more to use google classroom, while high school teachers who were dominated by teachers aged 24-40 years = 34% using 3 learning application media with a small difference, namely, google classroom, Whatsapp and manual. The dominant use of applications in each educational unit cannot be denied, apart from the age factor, other things, namely, the geographical location factor and the ability of the human resources of the physical education teachers themselves.
Online physically active academic lessons in COVID-19 times: A pilot study

h i g h l i g h t s A positive perception of online physically active academic lessons was observed among participants. The main benefits of combining physical activity and curricular content were noted by the participants. During lessons, students did more physical activity, learned, and enjoyed the experience. Some parents also did more physical activity, together with their children. The barriers observed in this study will not prevent participants from taking part once again.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning and physical activity in Physical Education with online media during the covid 19. Pandemic is a descriptive quantitative research about learning conditions using online learning. The population in this study SMA Plus Alfatimah students who carry out online learning. The samples in this study were Class X, XI and XII sample using total sampling. There are 346 respondes. The data collection instrument used online learning questionnaire used google form. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The study showed that, students assessed physical education learning with online learning is very effective (8.3%) effective (36.9%) normal (40.2%) although there are also students who think ineffective online learning (11.6) very ineffective (2.9%). Introduction This quantitative study aimed to determine physical education teachers’ (PETs) perceptions of online physical education (OLPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey. Methods An OLPE teaching survey during the COVID-19 was used, comprising PETs’ opinions on OLPE teaching as well as the advantages, disadvantages, difficulties, and suggestions for OLPE teaching. Results A significant difference by gender was identified in the individual approach to student learning, greater student independence, and ongoing monitoring of student results for teachers, parents, and students. In addition, a significant difference was found by gender in the difficulty in implementing the core curriculum content as well as by school type in the lack of proper home equipment, absence of or limited Internet access, and problems with connecting the computer, tablet, or smartphone to the Internet. Student Perceptions Related to Physical Education Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic

Online learning has many views from all students, so it is necessary to know how students perceive it. This study aims to see the perception of students related to online learning of physical education. The author uses non-experimentation with a quantitative descriptive approach-subjects who have sampled as many as 35 students, with sampling techniques, namely cluster random sampling. The research place is National Senior High School in West Java. The study results were that students experienced internet network constraints of 80% due to uneven connections in each region. As many as 94.3% of students were easier to learn in the classroom by interacting directly with teachers. The limitation of this research is that few students are willing to fill out the questionnaire that has been distributed. This study concludes that students get help and support from schools and the government to carry out the online learning process.
