Android-Based Learning Media Development to Improve Student Learning Achievement

Android media is one of the learning media that is easy and interesting to use. This study aimed to develop an Android-based science learning media that fulfills valid, practical, and effective aspects. The research method used 3 stages of the 4D model, namely (1) define, (2) design, and (3) develop. The dissemination stage was not done because it took a long time. The research instruments were validation sheets, questionnaire, and test. The media validity test was carried out by material experts and media experts. Practicality tests were carried out by teachers and students. The effective tests were carried out by student. The data analysis techniques were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The effective test used a quasi-experimental method with an intact-group comparison design. This study aims to develop a learning media. This research was a type of development research by adapting the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation). The object of this research was students in class IPA SMAN 1 Suwawa with a total of 117 students. The entire content of the material, media, and language in the learning media had to undergo an expert validation process to create draft II. Draft II then underwent product revisions in a limited trial and created draft III. Then, in a field trial with a total of 117 students, the response received a "very strong" percentage with a percentage of 94.50%, creating the final product improvement for researchers. The Development of Elementary School Social Science Course Teaching Materials on Mobile-Learning Based Android to Increase College Students’ Academic Performance

This study aims to: (1) develop teaching materials for Elementary School Social Science course on mobile learningbased android and (2) know the feasibility level of the developed teaching materials. This type of research is Research and Development by adapting the modified Borg & Gall model into five stages, namely information gathering, product planning, product development, product validation, and product evaluation. The results showed that (1) software of teaching material for Elementary School Social Science course on mobile learning-based android had been compiled based on input from validators, and (2) the teaching materials for the Elementary School Social Science course developed are considered suitable for use in learning in terms of material aspect and design aspect. The assessments from the experts are as follows: the validation result of the material expert for the content aspect is in very good qualification (85.6%), the material expert validation result for the presentation aspect is in very good qualification (85.9%), the material expert validation result for the language aspect is in very good qualification (86.4%) and the average validation result from design expert in very good qualifications (86.1%)

Development of Android-Based Mobile Learning Media Using Android Studio on Natural Science Subject in Elementary School

This research aim to develop Android-based mobile learning media using android studio on electrical energy material for 6th grade Elementary School. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) using 4D which consists of four stages, namely defining, planning, developing, and distributing stages. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Wates Timur and SDN 1 Tambahrejo by 10 students for the small-scale test and 30 students for the large-scale test in each school. The feasibility of android-based mobile learning media was tested using a product validation questionnaire by media experts, material experts and using a questionnaire response from educators and students. The results indicate that the percentage of media eligibility based on the validation of media experts and material experts is 82% in the very feasible category and 81% in the very feasible category. The Development of Android-Based Interactive Media To Increase The Learning Outcome Of Civic Education On 3rd Graders

On a pre-research in Karangayu 02 Semarang elementary school , learning process has not been optimum in the use of media which caused students were lack of focus and the outcomes of learning were low, from 29 students only 7 students (24.14%) who reached the minimum score criteria (KKM), so android-based interactive media needs to be developed. The type of this research is Research and Development with Waterfall SDLC of research models, which consists of: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This research aimed to find out the development, the properness, and the effectiveness of android-based interactive media. The population and sample of the study were 29 students of 3rdB grade Karangayu 02 elementary shool. The research design was one group pre-test post-test. The results showed that android media was decent to be used with percentage of assessment test of 79% from media expert, and from expert material amounted to 85% with the very decent criteria. Android-based interactive media was effective to be used, it was proved by the pretest and post-test learning outcomes acquired N-Gain = 0.57 with the moderate criteria. In addition, on the hypothesis test obtained tcount = 8.027 > ttable = 2.064, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The summary of this research was android-based interactive media was effective to be utilized in civic education learning and it could increase the results of the study civic education on the materials of The Youth Pledge.

Media expert gives a value of 75.50 with an average of 3.41 and categorized as very feasible. For the material, the researchers asked the expert that truly understand even master the Students Development subject. Material expert provides an assessment of 59.50 with an average value of 3.71 and considered good and decent. Students give value to this application at 72.85 with an average of 3.60 and the category is decent.

Android-based Instructional Media Development Procedure to Enhance Teaching and Learning in The Age of Disruption 4.0

This article aims to explain an android-based instructional media development procedure to enhance teaching and learning. At present we have entered a new era that demands technological literacy and data literacy, namely the big data era. People also call it an era of disruption 4.0. Some characteristics of this era are big volume, variety, velocity, veracity, and transitory. The ease of access to information brings benefits as well as various risks. Media development procedures can refer to development models that have been created by experts. One model that can be used is the ADDIE (Analiyz, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. Regarding the procedures of developing android-based instructional media will be explained further in Chapter III. The discussion, conclusions, and recommendations contained in this article can be used as consideration for developing or using android-based instructional media, both at school and in college.
