Features of Creativity of Employees of Project Organizations with Different Types of Thinking

The article discusses the features of creativity and personal traits of employees of design organizations. Project activities are understood as project implementation activities in which the main components are the project team and the project. The following methods were used: Mednik’s test “Diagnostics of verbal creativity” (adapted by A. N. Voronin), a questionnaire for determining the types of thinking and the level of creativity according to the method of J. Bruner, and a 16-factor questionnaire by R. Cattell. The study involved 125 employees of project consulting organizations. The results describe the relationship between different personal factors and verbal creativity in employees with different types of thinking. The reliability of the data is confirmed by the use of a set of methods of mathematical statistics.

In this study, we examined the role that knowledge sharing plays in mediating the relationship between the employee trust in leadership and employee innovation in the service sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We included 346 people employed in the service industry. According to the study’s findings, having faith in one’s leader has a beneficial and discernibly positive impact on the degree to which employees share their knowledge and innovate. Knowledge sharing has a positive and substantial effect on the creativity of employees, and vice versa. According to the study’s findings, the openness of leaders partially mediates the willingness of employees to try new things and share information, which is a consequence of the trust that employees have in their leaders and their willingness to experiment with new concepts.

The paper aims to study the relationship between organizational commitment and knowledge sharing; organizational commitment and employee creativity; knowledge sharing and employee creativity; and the knowledge sharing plays as mediator role. Simple sizes of 342 respondents from 17 four and five star hotels were collected in Cambodia. In order to achieve the purposes of this study and test the hypotheses, so that structural equation model (SEM) was employed. Results revealed that organizational commitment have influence on knowledge sharing and employee creativity, respectively; knowledge sharing has influence on employee creativity; and knowledge sharing also plays as partially mediated between organizational commitment and employee creativity. The finding is to fulfill the gap of literature and empirical study.
Proposing a Model for recognizing the method of the effect of knowledge sharing on creativity of employees, 2014
The aim for the current research is proposing a Model for recognizing the method of effect of knowledge sharing on creativity of employees. Accordingly, basic model of this research which was based on research literature is passed to the experts. After conducting some corrections based on experts' view, model indexes for research were finalized. For examining the relation between provided variables in model and their effect on each other, structural equation model was used by Lisrel software. Current research has application aim, and from the viewpoint of nature and method it is measurement and is correlation type. Totally, two types of questionnaire were used in this research, in which the first questionnaire was designed for validating the conceptual model including 9 questions, open and closed questions. Final questionnaire was studied in the organization for examining and describing the relation between observed variables and hidden variables, and the questionnaire including 16 questions was designed, distributed and gathered. Results show that there was a positive and direct effect of knowledge sharing with the creativity of employees. Also, it is recommended to invest more for supporting knowledge sharing in considered organization in social, organizational and technological fields.

The role of authentic leadership has been stressed in the management literature. We have examined how an authentic leader can influence employee well-being, creativity and knowledge sharing in the context of Pakistan. The results derived from a sample of 200 project managers suggest that authentic leadership plays a significant role in creating a culture of knowledge sharing and creativity. Moreover, leaders are also concerned about the well-being of employees. In addition, authentic leaders through knowledge sharing influence employee creativity. The study recommends that managers should adopt an authentic leadership style as it creates a culture of knowledge sharing and give autonomy to workers. Moreover, authentic leaders are open to new ideas and welcome personal and organizational criticism. This study aims to propose elaborative theoretical framework to assess factors that influences creativity. We combine (Teresa M. Amabile et al., 1996; Jothi & Hin, 2015; Lin & Liu, 2012; Yeh & Huan, 2017) models featuring work and its environmental related factors into one holistic framework to assess the antecedents and consequence of creativity. We propose two level mediation to assess the effect of environmental variables on innovation and motivations through creativity as well as Job Stressors. This study aims to see the increased influence generated by rewards, knowledge sharing and creativity on organizational performance. Creativity has vital impact on organizational performance and when it is the case of service firms, the creativity of frontline employees become more crucial. This study investigates the role of contextual factors such as job complexity and relationship with supervisor on employee creativity that in turn have positive effect on firm's innovation and performance. This study further investigates that employee intrinsic motivation mediates the relationship between contextual factors and employee creativity. Data were collected through convenient sampling from banking employees working in different branches of seven Pakistani banks operating in Multan city through 164 questionnaires which then analyzed using SPSS 16. The results showed the direct relationship of job complexity and supervisory relationship with employee creativity keeping the mediating variable unaffected. Further, employee creativity has shown significant positive relation with organization innovation capability and firm performance. Managerial implications, limitations and recommendations for future research have also been discussed.

Empowering leadership substantively encourages employee creativity and enhances intellectual capital. This study focuses on exploring the impact of leadership empowerment on personnel creativity through moderating the role of project culture and mediating the effect of creative self-efficacy across project-based IT organizations. The questionnaires were distributed to collect data from 264 leaders and subordinates serving in different project-based firms. Convenience sampling was incorporated for data collection from the software houses within capital of Pakistan (Islamabad). The empirical findings from the descriptive statistical analysis demonstrated that empowering leadership has positively influenced personnel creativity in the projects. Further, the results revealed a significant role of creative self-efficacy as a mediator in boosting human capital within the project-based IT organizations. However, the moderating role of the project culture substantiated to be insignificant in influencing the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity.

This research was conducted with the aim of studying the impact of managers ' leadership style on employees ' creativity with considering the mediating role of organizational structure in Metal Industries of Kaveh Industrial City at 2012. The populution of the research was including 4700 employee involved in metal industries of Iranian Kaveh Industrial City and among whom, 355 people was considered as sample by using Cochran formula and sampling method of rational random classification.
